    Good interview. And sounds like Magic really picked him up emotionally again after he'd fallen into the funk of feeling unappreciated with moving through 5 teams in a short period of time. Never dawned on him the Lakers would come calling and wanting him for his game. Especially with LeBron coming out here to play with all the young talent. But that was before the Magic Man got to him. Once he gets you in that room or on the phone the Jedi mind stuff starts happening.

    I really like this dude. I’m hoping he plays well enough to be in the rotation in LA for years to come.

    That was a great interview for anyone, but especially Beasley who is really starting to show how much he has matured.

    We signed talented people who are deemed underachievers. In terms of being lockerroom disruptions Rondo is really the only one with a documented history.

    No history like that with the 2008 World Champs. In fact the only dissident that came out of them eventually was Ray Allen. KG said Rondo was the best PG in the world his first year with the team so it just goes to show a couple of things. One, maybe Rondo is not completely happy unless he is winning a championship very much like his friend and supporter Black Mamba (who has said he loves his attitude). Two, it's a 2-way thing like any relationship. His personalty might be a bit gritty and he may rub some people the wrong way but with any friend, partner, co worker, teammate, you take the good with the "bad" and embrace it all. What some see as bad, others (like PJ) see as a fine quality. You've heard Magic say we have 2 leaders now, James and Rondo, so he obviously doesn't consider any of that stuff an issue. With veterans Luke just seems like a punching bag, he can take it. The only guys that even sort of had an issue with Luke so far was Jules, and Jules simply could not or would not do what he was asked to do. I'm not trying to exonerate or completely remove responsibility from Rajon for the image he's cultivated, there is no way a coach like Carlisle should have to say things about you in the media but I do think he is the kind of personality and player that will work in some systems and coaches but not all. I like the fit myself.

    These guys, even Beasley included, will make our kids louder, grittier, and not afraid of anyone. I already see Kuz and Hart embracing that culture like it was second nature.
