I don't think Ayres qualifies for a two way contract.

Surprise signing for me but a good one. Man gets buckets. He'll be great off the bench.

Why not? Genuinely asking. I looked it up before that post and multiple sites don’t say anything about strict rules, nothing about age or having been in the league before, it’s very vague.

    https://gleague.nba.com/nba-g-league-101-two-way-contracts/

Seems the only thing you have to do is play in both leagues, and not spend more than 45 days with the NBA team, not 45 games as I said wrong earlier.

Yeah and for me ... "whatever". In the major strategic decisions to be made here concerning Kawhi Leonard deciding whether to come to the Lakers and what the Lakers are willing to give up for him to Toronto now ... seriously no offense to Ayres but why should Kahwi even give a **** toward that affecting his decision?

At the bottom of what you linked. "Only players in their fourth season or earlier".

Its not that Kawhi cares or not, its us having a channel to talk to or about Kawhi since they have the same agent.

    Ahhh .... I see.

    :Fishwink:

Sorry for being so dense. Like I said earlier about this particular Julius emoji ... I'm sure I will be needing it often even though he is gone. Too perfect.

I’d actually say Beasley and Melo are close to the same player at this stage, that’s how bad Melo is on defense now and how inefficient he is now that all he can do is spot up shoot. At least Beasley is willing to come off the bench. Funny thing is now, I’d rather have Beasley than Derrick Rose as well, because at least one can last a whole season.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry... Lance, Rondo, McGee, and now Beasley, throw in Jack Nicholson from the courtside and you have the cast for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest!

They left out Pam McGee who I read harped all the time at Golden State for "misusing" his son's talent...

Win or lose...we'll be entertaining both on AND off the floor.

There's another thread here in these part where a list of who's the best out there that is left and Beasley's name jumped out at me. And here it is... :)

Inapropos Doc Holiday references aside, perhaps this pic will better illustrate what I'm referring to.
