Not really sure. I just see more potential for a longer term fit with him for some reason. He had a pretty solid Season last year & I think he will be a reliable bench scorer for us..We'll see. It'll be interesting to see how these guys each fit in.
You'd think with the Lakers new s.o.t.a. practice facility they wouldn't have cut price corners on something like a thermostat. Beas .... obviously cold with the hoodie on.
OK this is shallow again. But does Beas's appearance or face seem a little off or creepy compared to most other players' faces to anyone else? Maybe it's his particular tat arrangement up high. All I got.
He's one of the best 1 on 1 scorers in the league, a nice weapon to have against teams who switch a lot on D . Defensively he was solid last season .
He's gonna be great for offensive stagnation, tough grind-it-out defensive games when we can't get scores. He'll open up the game for others because of it.
Had to have been scary because last night when he went to the bench with the head laceration he said he couldn't see anything. also thought this was a funny tweet from last night
I actually liked this signing among all our other summer adds...but dude is having a tough time fitting in. Hope that changes soon, cause I rather Kuz/Beas take up for most of Bron's regular season minutes so that the Kang has his legs for a prolonged postseason run.
Honestly I'm fine with how he's fitting. I've been pleasantly surprised by his defense, and we know already that he can score. I like him a lot more than Lance.
Still not a fan of Beasley as back up 5 but better him than Kuz. I think we need am actual back up 5 and use Beasley when Lebron take games off for rest.
I think he's good, he fits as a bench player, but I also agree with you guys that this Kuz/Beasley experiment at the center position does not look good.
I thought Beasley looked better on D last night and he is making a concerted effort to pick his spots on offense and get his shots in the flow of things. We happen to be stacked at his position, but I like the guy.
It’s preseason, I know, but this signing is looking bad so far. Beasley looks lost right now, struggling hard to score. He’s a 1-on-player, a super poor man’s Melo, and our team concept is ball and player movement. He doesn’t seem to fit that. I’m still not over us keeping Brook Lopez with his spot, or not at least getting another athletic backup big. Beasley is better on defense than I expected, but again, he looks lost so far. I hope he finds his rhythm and the shots start falling, we will need it come the real games. One thing these guys do seem to not be lacking is the chippiness we said we were bringing them in for, both Beas and Lance ejected tonight for it.
