I responded after I saw your last request, but I don't think I tagged you in it. Easy to pass it by, but I do try to address special requests. Not always possible. In that case, we already had it, but just had to put it back up. I try not to put any duplicate content on lakergifs vs lakersball so all of our stuff here is unique.
In a league where the big man has faded to the perimeter, Markennen can play the 5....heck Jules been playing the 5 for us this season. Not an issue in my hypothetical...the only issue is Deng and that will continue to be an issue with any proposed trade we make that involves that dead cap weight.
That is beautiful that they’ve reconciled at least a little. Two great players that I really enjoyed competing; grown men getting past pride. Thomas was amazing. I really didn’t know, or remember, that this was about gay rumors and the fallout from it. I do recall rumors floating during that time, but there were whispers of certain wild parties here in L.A. as well. Ironic that the two guys who kissed before every game would have a fall out over gay rumors. Also ironic that HIV/AIDS has effected both sides. And ironic even further, regardless of whether the rumors were true or not, Magic’s son has damn near captured all of what gay stereotypes were in those days. Nowadays, it’s just not as big a deal and little Magic would probably kick your a** if you thought it were. Haa. Times have changed.
What a moment. I didn't expecdt Isiah to get that emotional, but good for them. I honestly thought it would just be a light video with them laughing and joking about the old days. Very cool to see. And I still hate Isiah.
