We really should have kept Jerry West somehow in some capacity.

He’s the only reason I’m worried about the Clippers as competition for the summer of 2019

I am not sure how much is he, an 80(82?) years old guy, involved. I haven't seen a quote or an interview.

I think it's a nice retirement for him and a prestige move for them.

Pretty sure he’s ok in the shadows. He didn’t interview often as a Laker either.

What is indisputable is that Griffin, Paul, and Jordan disappeared quickly. And now they have 2 max spots coming up and some young talent and reasonable contracts.

We’re ahead of them, but if he was there the next 10 years, I bet they are perennial playoff participants. But he won’t be, so there’s that.

This is a bit of nostalgia here for me. Folks, this is the documentary that got me interested in sports, generally. There are bits from my past I have been looking for since YouTube started and this is one of them.

Purple & Gold talk. At this point in time, this was the most of the Lakers-C Bags rivalry footage I have ever seen. I still remember reeling from the WCF loss the year before, and this was a great comeback for me as a Lakers fan.

Worthy saving the ball from going out of bounds tipping the ball to Magic's hands for the breakaway jam (at 8m 30s of the video) was the dagger to the C Bags' hearts we all deserved.

Even though I don't think she will leave ESPN after just having signed a nice contract extension where she'll get to work on various projects this would be really cool and I'd be completely in favor of this. Doris is great!

Last thing we need in Game Day is OX hormonally distracted. Look at some of his more random outbursts now.

Pretty crazy to think of Magic as a point guard when you see him next to Shaq. Big dude.

Funny how Magic is saying that Tatum will be an all star this year but he didn't even work him out and we picked Zo over him...

This morning Magic Johnson mentioned the names of Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green on First Take. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't mentioning players of other teams considered tampering?

    - January 2018 (Magic gets a 50K fine)

-April 2018 (Ainge gets nada for commenting on Giannis)

June 27, 2017 (4 days before free agency), Cp3 opts in and forces a trade to Houston who didn't have enough cap space to outright sign Cp3 had he opted out. How does that happen without any tampering?

No fine for Morey...nah, they slap him with the Executive of the Year belt. #basketballreasons

Magic, keep doing you sir! Speak on whoever you goddamn want and expose the audicity of this hypocrisy. "What's a tampering fine to me?" (Magic probably)

If mentioning names is tampering then Doc Rivers did it this morning on First take because he praised Curry a bunch of times by name. Tampering rules are stupid, everyone does it but only we get fined.
