I did watch his Spectrum interview. He said the biggest thing he worked on in the offseason was his jumpshot. Disappointed in his play last season, knows he can be better, blah blah blah, but he worked on his jumper, not his gut. Ok...

Liability on both sides of the court... He will be the root of our problems when the season start and if Luke will be pig headed and still play him, we will lose a lot of winnable games.

He still looked out of shape. I won't be surprised if he doesnt see the floor much this season.

He certainly did not look as dedicated to fitness as the rest of the roster.

Same as last year apparently. If so .... what a bum. Hope he's in better shape than he looks and his skills levels are back much closer to where he's historically been.

I'd play Deng this season in spot minutes. He's a 4 at this point, but he can shoot at or better than the league average; we need the spacing this season for Ball. Outside of Kyle who can shoot and play some 4, Deng is the best shooter we have there, unfortunately.

It was so great not to see Deng out there at all last night. I hope that continues all season long. I almost forgot that he was on our team. It was a wonderful feeling.

agree, except with our issues with shooting and/or ball skills at the pf spot, we may need to dust his fat a** off, diaw-style for portions of the season.

If Randle and Nance keep clanking shots from the 3-point line, he will get time.

Randle and Nance are non-starters on a title team. They will also never be shooters no matter how much they shoot.

Nance is that "glue" player that people in here just can't seem to get enough of. A couple is fine. More than that, it results in what we have seen the last 4 years.

My hope is that Kuzma replaces Randle at some point during the season and I was proud of Zubac for stepping up after what happened during summer league.

Most worried about KCP. His verbal skills were somewhat of a warning to me about his mental state, but I hope it doesn't spill to his play. This is LA, pressure is huge here. I hope he doesn't turn into Ramon Sessions.

kcp's a complementary player; he's going to look better alongside better players and disappear when surrounded by what we've got. lot of pressure on lopez to really carry things offensively this year. i actually think he's up to it if he can stay healthy--he's an underrated scorer. but i think kcp needs to be spoonfed on offense. his d looked great to me in game 1.
