Whenever I see that expression I just assume he is trolling. And he is.

So you compare Kidd to the most dominant bigs in history??

Bigs are rare these days. Guards are not imo. Guards have evolved. Stretch bigs aren't exactly the evolution of dominant post players and physical specimen. That type of player doesn't exist anymore. Kidd would still be a good player today. Just not a franchise player.

I was just using your words against you. :D

But I just completely disagree. I think it's fair to wonder if Lonzo will be a "star", but I don't see how anyone can write him off this early when we've seen what a year can do literally last year with Ingram. And there's no era in which Jason Kidd wouldn't have been a star. There's no one in the league like him right now, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be a star. Not every star has to be Steph Curry. Look at Antetounmkumpo (sp?). There's no one really like him... maybe ever! And he's still a star.

That means they checked up on his knee and how it was recovering from his meniscus. Things checked out. He's probably off his feet for a few weeks, but could still probably lift if he was careful. You're "back" in 6-8 weeks, but that doesn't mean you can't do anything until then.

How do we know they didn't see something a little worse than expected and fixed it best as possible and are saying the same thing? Honest question.

Well the point of a surgery like this is to check for complications so if they came away "clean" then there's nothing of immediate concern in his knee. If they'd seen something else in there, he would likely need another, more serious, surgery. By the time he gets to camp he should be 100% good to go and he should be able to get back in the weight room quickly as long as he's not bearing extra weight on his knee.

OK thanks. I guess the key words in the press release are them confirming again they expect him to be ready completely for camp. If it was worse inside than expected and maybe they had to do more during the procedure then the time frame for recovery formally put out in the Media is longer.

Hopefully this is the last we hear about this knee.

Pretty much exactly. If we hear anything else at this point besides "he is recovering well and will be ready by camp" then we should start to really worry.

I remember this well. It’s hard not see it as a test for a future teammate now.
