It sounds strange, but it somehow makes sense.

Yeah I don't really know what to make of him at this point.

He's a bad shooter, bad finisher, overly passive but also a great passer, defender and screen setter.

Once his rookie deal is up, how much would he be worth if he's just ends up becoming a really good role player?

I don't get why he doesn't elevate to finish every single time. He'd that aggressive streak going for awhile taking it to the rim, and now he's stopped again.

Kid is coin flip on offense, but all his intangibles are hard to measure compared to other top picks.

He finally started to get it in the 2nd half other than that behind the back travesty. He was dunking those layups/fast breaks in the 2nd half.

But yes, your right, he needs to always go to the basket with that authority. Trying to dunk it all the time.

I actually think that blown layup in the first half was a result of thinking he would go up for a 2-handed dunk, but kind of losing track of how far away from the rim he was. Still an embarrassing miss, but I thought he was for sure going up for the 2-handed slam before throwing up that wild layup.

I enjoy watching Zo play. Enjoyment is why I ultimately get up @ 4am to see the games. I love seeing him make smart, ahead-of-the-play things.

I couldn't give less f***s about everything else pundits, Lakers brass, forums put on him.

I thought you got up at 4am because your hatred of Luke compels you to.

If I were Zo, I'd find the best Skills Trainer this off-season, and really put time into developing some semblance of an offensive game; he can be a really good basketball player; he just needs to get into that gym and work very diligently on improving and adding to his offensive arsenal...

Honestly, he has the skills. It's really all mindset for him. It's very Lamar Odom-esque when it comes to being engaged all 48. All the skills are there, but he needs that push to get him where he needs to be.

If he played like he did at UCLA, no one really question his skill. He was knocking down threes, aggressively attacking the rim, hitting crazy jumpshots. He'll have spurts like that every now and then, but we need consistency and attack mode out of him consistently. The only other thing I would add for him now is a floater, he needs that to keep centers honest.

All he need is Kobe. Not so much for the offensive improvement but mentality and preparation. Few workouts and if he doesn't run away crying, we'll have a winner...

Always tough to judge these kind of stars. How much of those numbers are lonzo doing work and how much is it having mcgee/chandler playing great defence behind him. It’s a team effort in most cases.

I am pretty sure Kobe has been available to train him.....I don't believe Zo has taken that offer. Unless i am mistaken.
