I heard some hack on ESPN radio the other day say,

"If LeBron wins again this year it will cement his position as the GOAT."

I don't think SAS would ever put LeBron above Jordan.

until the next great players peak...... give it time, give it time

However, starting out of high school, and staying healthy, he literally has a chance to be WAY up the all time stat charts in a number of categories. He'll be the greatest something, but very few would ever give him the title of Greatest Player Ever. He lost too much, didn't have the killer instinct, and is a flopping whining diva.

I always say it's almost impossible to top Jordan's career. It was just too perfect. He had other-worldly stats while losing early on, then dominating with 2 three peats, and the mystery of the 1994-1995 which leads many to believe they would have 8-peated. His career literally ended on a game winner and then Wizard years didn't take anything away from the legend but added to it because he was still a really good player at 40. I'm not even talking about his massive marketability which still makes him still one of the profitable players 2 decades after he left. Lebron would have to win 7 rings to be considered the universal GOAT and I doubt he actually wins more than 1 more.

Without the heroic ray allen 3 and Draymond suspension, Lebron would be what... 1-6 in finals? Imagine that. 1 win out of 7 finals, that'd be atrocious

Hey don't forget, the championship in Cleveland counts for two. At least that's what the national media ran with for a while there.

Or 2 losses if he lost again. Without the nutcracker's contribution plus Ray he'd have been down to 1 - 7?

Teams with a 26 point lead entering the 4th quarter were 840 and 0.

    Until today. Good job LeBron.

840-0 since 2002 when Kobe and Shaq came back from down 27 to the Mavs. These Cavs allowed the freakin Hawks to do something that hadn't been done since one of the best duos in NBA history did it. It might not mean anything when they're in the Finals, but they did maybe cost themselves the #1 seed in the east after all, and it's always fun when LeBron ends up on the wrong side of history.

saw on the sport news that cavs blew 26 pt lead in the 4th qtr. All the chatter from Cavs camp... "refs this. Refs that." um what? Ref didn't cost you at 26pt lead in 12 minutes. Sure could of been a few bad calls but calling the refs out when the so-called greatest to ever play is on the other team? laughable. Wish there was some doom for this collapse... wow.

I'm not really surprised they're whining and crying, because they're so used to having the refs on their side during games. So any string of questionable calls that contribute to a loss, especially an epic collapse I'm sure they don't know what the hell is going on. Like LeBron, he never fouls out, never, it took overtime for him to get there this game. I can see him immediately thinking it was some ref conspiracy or something because they never call fouls on him. In fact he did say in the post game interview that his 6th foul wasn't a foul, because that's his go to move, blame others.

The guy who always gets help from the refs and constantly flops is now criticizing the refs because they blew a 26 point lead in the 4th? Good job.

I'd suggest slowing it down, so Crying Jordan is visible better...
