Did pops having his 2 kids quit on another team just throw cold water on Lonzo's rap tour in Lithuania? Do the balls as a unit :giggle: want to even see Lithuania again? Does Lithuania want the Balls back now. They probably burned poor Melo and Gelo's jerseys in the streets.

That was pretty damn funny. If only he had a college education to fall back on or something. Hmm [IMG]

Whatever basketball instincts Lonzo was seemingly born with, Gelo was sadly not. Instead he seems to have inherited his father’s stupidity and bravado.

The whole family will. All LaVar's enormous plans will get harder and harder to be successfully executed the more and more of a jacka** he proves himself to be. The shtick and boorish actions are wearing on public perception of him now. Then what?

Sadly, this is true, which puts even more unnecessary pressure on Zo, and why I wish even harder that he turns into a star, or at the very least has a long, solid career in the league.

And that is why it will be interesting to see how much he improves next year. He’s still got crazy dad, mom’s stroke condition, the baby brothers trying to find their way into the league, a baby on the way, and just life as as famous athlete that has a lot of expectations on him, from Magic at least. That’s a good amount on his plate. Can he stay focused and can he handle that pressure.

Safe to say Lonzo will be supporting that family for the rest of his career.

Gotta feel for the 2 younger brothers after reading some of the comments as they are probably representative of widespread public opinion. Kardashian remarks about the family and everyone hating on them too now due to LaVar's unlikability and his extremely bad decisions made for them at the worst possible time in their lives.

I must say...2018 has been the WORST year for Lavar Ball.

He has managed to screw up both of the younger sons lives and he ALMOST screwed up Lonzo's too with the public comments on Luke in January. Luckily, we have the greatest point guard of all time to shut Lavar up...but what about his other two sons? Who is going to shut him up regarding them?

I actually feel bad for LaMelo...he has a chance at being an NBA player but surely this experience did NOT help him.

Gelo was always not going to make the NBA...he will probably spend time in the G-league before he finally makes the NBA. Likely he will make the LA g-league team.

    LaMelo though? He got robbed....

I think what’s most sad to me about this family is that everything they set out to do, which from a spectator’s perspective was exciting to hear because it went against conventional wisdom, could have been successfully executed without Lavar’s theatrics. An athletic brand, all 3 sons in the NBA, Zo’s rap career, a separate league to employ players that can’t go pro, reality show, etc. Some of those things have been done, but some won’t get done. Lavar’s ego has boomeranged back on him and made most goals harder and some unattainable. It could have been so much easier. But they still make money so all is not lost.
