    I hear you. I will say that no tact is par for the course, so Lavar really doesn't stand out much. Celebrities, citizens, the president, etc. many showing no tact in sending out messages. Youtube, Worldstar, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, you name it, chock-full of no tact. But of all the egregious behavior, it is the President, not Lavar, that shouldn't be involved at all.

    Maybe. I thought it was ridiculous that Trump was calling out the players and the Ball family before the kids even got a chance for their press conference. After that though, Lavar shouldn't open his mouth. Trump should be thanked for his contribution. He's the President. He didn't have to get involved at all. He could have just said it wasn't his place to bail out young kids, but he did them a solid. A "thank you" would have been appropriate.

    Both of the parties here are acting like stupid children. Both deserve disdain.

    If I was the news anchor, I probably would’ve called Lavar an idiot and ended the connection with him to embarrass him online

    Cut off his audio, and let him look like a fool mouthing his crazy exaggerated words and expressions

    Haa. At this point I don't think you could make Lavar look like a fool, just like no one can make the president feel any accountability for anything. That is how deep this is. They are both seemingly untouchable. I'll just shake my head in disgust as they entertain me with their insults back and forth.

    Jesus this guy seriously has a screw loose.

    Constantly ramping up animosity for the whole family and it all falls on Lonzo the good son to go out there and deal with the fallout from all of his dad's CRAP being indescriminately and constantly dumped into worldwide media. I said I didn't hate him before but it's real close. Oh screw it I hate him.

    I noticed when watching the replay of the game today that you could see Lavar in the crowd behind the Lakers basket in the 2nd half, wearing a bright red shirt. He was up clapping when Lonzo hit that 3 when he came back in during the 4th, when KCP put back Lopez’s missed 3, and when Ingram made that driving and 1. Didn’t notice him before that, but it was interesting seeing the actual father in the crowd cheering on the team vs the character talking trash on the coach and such.

    I’m fairly old and do not have any social media accounts so I don’t know the differences.

    However, if it were my brand, I’d make sure I controlled the messages coming out.

    Commenting on Randle and Luke at the end of regulation.



    Again, I got no problem with him making public comments about his son. But when it comes to coaching and what player X and Y should have done, it becomes an unnecessary distraction.
