    An NBA rookie's father has made it to a huge national tv show skit (not actual SNL, summer Weekend Update, but still), I think it's safe to say Lavar has gotten all the exposure he could ever hope for with his act.

    I could not agree more. The outlash towards Lonzo creating his own shoe made no sense to me. It puts pressure on the kid, but from a business and personal standpoint, it's awesome. He shouldn't get hate for that.

    If he starts playing poorly or if the shoes look terrible, that's a different story, but so far he deserves nothing but praise for the way he's handled himself.

    This is the whole point to this issue and why I support Lavar. His idea is needed and overdue, and the craziness just added the shock value to get those current and future entrepreneurs to imagine the possibilities. (And credit to Shaq for his effort with TWISM.)

    For all of the criticisms of hip hop and inner city people/life, the creativity that has come from it for decades created billions for those that took advantage of it. Those same people need to be the PRIMARY benefactors of their creations. I'm glad Jay-Z speaks it now and 4:44 is a masterpiece for doing so.
