    He's a D and 15 footer, not a D and 3...

Still though a valuable asset if he can defend the wing.

We must think he can do more than play D to tie up 1M with him when we need all our $$ to fill out a roster. He seems like a nice pick when you have positions 1-7 set and you need a specialist. Did Mitch think it was 2010 again?

He must be slated as a SF - to replace Wes, unless Kelly is gone. I want to keep Kelly for another year. He can improve if he stays healthy.

Oh wow. WOW!!!! That old tweet. They better trade his hater arss TONIGHT!! What kind of diligence did they do? No way you can draft a kid that said that about Kobe. Should have gone Connaughton, Wood or Young with that pick. SMH

Heard Larry Nance Jr is like Mark Madsen/Louis Amundson. Not bad for a late 1st round pick I guess

Baxter Holmes trying to start crap with the Lakers and Kobe, what a shocker that he's the one to publicly point that tweet out. I don't like the tweet at all, and I'm not trying to make excuses, but we're stuck with the kid as of right now, and it was said years ago and kids do and say dumb things.

I thought this was the biggest reach in the first round (hat tip to rozier, though I like his game more). wanted joe young or hernangomez, both on the board for both picks.

He was a dumb kid. I bet his first thought was "WOW I got drafted by the Lakers!?!"

then his second thought was "ooooooooooooh craaappppppppPPPPPP"

I'm not going to hold it against him. Best for him to own up to it though.

See lots of tweets that Nance murdered his workouts. That would explain things. Lakers put a lot of weight into workouts.

He called Kobe a rapist, publicly. Not in 2004. Just 3 years ago. And despite working out for the Lakers he only deleted the tweet tonight. 19 then or not, I would never overlook that as an employer. I wonder what will happen if the FO only learned about that tweet tonight.

It's definitely concerning, but the only way it goes away is if he mans up and talks to Kobe about it and squashes it before the media runs with it.
