And spacing for the starting lineup just went down the drain...

who needs spacing when you're a good teammate that can run fast and jump high?

On the bright side, Kuzma and Randle seem to play pretty well together...

    That’s my thought.

Beyond that, I’m pretty meh on this move.

    I think it's a mistake.

Just like Julius did what was necessary to prove he's worth starting in preseason, Kuzma did everything to prove he's our starter now.

Maybe this is so when the Lakers sign big name FAs these young guys are already used to coming off the bench. :D

The starters are struggling to score to open games and we bench a scorer in favor of a limited offensive player.

    Makes sense in LukeLand.

This is a code of honor thing. Can't lose your starting position by injury.

I give Nance 5 games to lose the starter spot though.

In the meantime, we spot opposing teams 10 to 15 points in the first 8minutes...Puke

Does he not understand that the only somewhat reliable offense in that starting unit is Lopez on the block?

How does that match with his "philosophy"?

Just as I mentioned, I am not thrilled by Larry coming back. And this is why.

Leash will be short.. No worries on a year with no expectations to make a playoff push.

Maybe he will "pull a Luke" and ask to come of the bench

I'd think this... At least Nance will solidify the rebounding and defense again. We can't score so they can't score. :)

i guess i'll continue to be the only one on nance island. i love how he does all the little things, and he's the toughest guy on the roster (apologies to randle, brewer, and hart). he won the starting job before he got hurt, and the starters haven't set the world on fire in his absence. he deserves a shot to continue in the role.

fortunately for the hatahs, the schedule gets terrible upon his return. so if we desperately want to start kuzma, or randle, or bryant, or some unnamed d-leaguer that can shoot and do nothing else, they'll probably get their shot.

I agree with you two above if you're also in agreement with me... He could prove to be great for starting games and keep the game close(hopefully we have the lead) before we go to bomb on them with our bench. Bomb on them as in our bench being more superior :)

Lets hope things are a lil different now with players getting more experience and developed chemistry with one another when he was out, as hes inserted back in. Once again hope the leash is short.

It's not that I don't like Larry, but I don't think he should start.
