i was really worried about the original draft time on Saturday. i had to go to a birthday party of a friend of the girl i started seeing. When you're meeting a girl's friends for the first time, it usually doesn't look too good to say you have to focus on your fantasy draft for the next hour.

NOTICE: I will be adding 2 bench spots at 3 pm PDT. Please alert members who are not on this board. There will be a post on the league message board. Best of luck during the season everyone.

Wait, that is lame. Do not do that. If you wanted to do that, you should have added the roster spots prior to the draft. This first-come-first-serve-whoever-saw-the-note is not good imo. Not to be a poor sport, but if you do decide to go forward with that, I'm quitting the league.

Besides, unless I'm remembering something wrong...there have always been 3 bench spots (and 13 players per roster). The only thing different about this league compared to others is having 3 utility slots and 1 center slot, as opposed to the usual 2 center slots, 2 utility slots. Unless i'm misunderstanding something, I vote to please leave it alone.

Can't say that I wasn't excited for 2 more slots, they'd a handful of players I still want.

Yea I hear ya. It's not the idea of 15 man rosters that bothered me. If we had that set up BEFORE going into the draft, that would've been perfectly fine. It's just the whole first-come first-serve, after some people already made roster moves, all the day before the season starts thing that was off-putting. Sorry if I was being a stick in the mud :p. I just thought in the interest of fairness, it seemed like a bad idea.

Or we can hold another draft with Game day chat and people then pick up players from waiver accordingly hah!

Nah, then you would have to reverse all the transactions people made after the draft. It'd all end up being very messy.

The season starts tomorrow anyways, I say let's just roll with what we have. 13-man roster is standard, nothing wrong with it :) . Personally, I'm just glad Yahoo finally added the Injury List function to Fantasy BBall...although I hope I won't have to use it.

Yeah it'd be messy to organize. Let's just stick with it, will be fun regardless.

Wait... what is this injury list function?

So let's say somebody on your team goes down for a few weeks with a knee sprain. Once Yahoo designates the player "Injured" you can move him onto the Injured List. There are 2 spots available in our league for injured players. So it frees up a roster spot for you to pick up a temporary replacement without having to "give up" your injured player. You can read about it here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN6808.html

Hey guys, sorry I was busy.

It's ALWAYS a democracy. I know people had asked if the rosters were going to be bigger, so I assumed thats what people wanted. I know it should have been done before the draft, but I didn't realize it til after. I've got no problem with the 13 man roster if you guys dont.

I just misunderstood/screwed up but figured the best time to do it would've been before the regular season tipped off. I also had not realized people had already made roster moves. No harm no foul.

    Anyways, best of luck everyone!!!
