IIIIIIT'S TIME!!!!!!!! On NBA TV 10:00pm Eastern Location: At the Valley View Casino Center Victim: The pathetic Denver Nuggets Finally some Lakers Baskeball back in our lives!!
Will be interesting to see how people use this vs the chat, but it's here for those that want it. Here we go. Monday, October 6th Live: 7:00 PM PST TV: TWC SportsNet, NBA TV Radio: KSPN-AM 710/KWKW-AM 1330 Online Radio Link: http://espn.go.com/espnradio/losangeles/play?s=la For those that use the radio link, let me know if it is out of date or not properly linked or anything like that. I've been copying and pasting it so long I am unsure. When I do use it I use the ESPN radio app, which doesn't always broadcast the game I believe...so yeah, let me know any issues.
Good news for those of us outside LA - it's being broadcast on NBATV. (This is me, breathing a sigh of relief for that!)
Yes, I've seen the effects of Lakers withdrawals and they're not pretty. Need a regular fix of the purple and gold to stay properly crazy.
Let's go Lakers! Let's go P & G!! I'm VERY excited to see the rooks against other legit NBA competition! Not to mention what Kobe can do in his first action back in a long, long time.
3:38 and that Wizards Bulls game was quite entertaining so far. Rose looks good, some altercation 3mins into the game ... but man I wanna see at least the first quarter of this game.
Lakers tweet just now: Getting lose in San Diego #GoLakers It's getting LOOSE, not lose! Bad karma in that typo....
Great to see a win from the guys again. And I actually saw some defense! Kobe looked very good. Randle and Clarkson played well. Lin and Davis played great together. I didn't see much of Nash but the highlights looked quite good. Booz seemed to fit in. Ellington came through. I like what I see and I like the personnel.
Love your highlight videos. Better than what others upload since you show more than just the flashy stuff.
I like it. Now we have that awesome new shoutbox, as well as this. "Games Day" can be used for pre-game announcements, links, analysis, as well as post-game comments. So, the game went really well. Honestly, I did not expect our team to play that well together. Here are some quick points: -Kobe does not elevate as much, but other than that, he looks really good. He scores without too much trouble and his passes are sharp. He likes his new teammates. -Nash; if he could bring this for 60+ games, the Lakers would be a playoff team. Healthy Nash is still one of the best PGs out there. But his minutes will have to be closely monitored. Who knows... if he does not play heavy minutes, he might be able to play at least half of the season. -Bigs; our "center by committee" position is pretty solid actually. Hill and Davis rock, they are very mobile. But we can't afford any injuries at the 5. -Clarkson has talent, just needs to be less nervous and play under control. -Randle will be a star in this league. His speed, first step and ballhandling ability will definitely compensate for the lalck of length. He's strong and athletic and he is only 19. Don't trade this kid!
