    thats why they offered him a ridiculous 48 million dollar contract without even trying to negotiate.

    again i don't blame kobe for taking it at all. thats god damn 48 million. but how the front office didnt want to negotiate is beyond me

    I'm sure the FO is sick of Kobe, I mean what has he done lately right? Meanwhile they have showed nothing but support for a guy they paid 27 million to, that has missed a majority of time and his best play as a Laker is setting a screen for the game winner against Houston.
