This is the best one he's done.

But also that song is amazing.

Anyone else hope even if unlikely that this LeBron we're seeing in the daily quotes being the leader and a likable guy and perfect fit for and even maybe capable of taking this team all the way, with heath .... doesn't turn into the whole King spectacle with him allowing it to overshadow the rest of the team ..... such as with what he says on Media Day with too too much of a LeBron and his role players "feel" to it and in future dealings with the press, and to how the team presents him at home games when they all run out and are announced. Don't say King! It would be really special of him at this stage of his career to recognize the value of dialing that down a little bit for the perfect public appearance.

He's done everything else right so far. Well ... haven't yet seen any fight sequences in trailers for his What's My Name ... Muhammad Ali film. Has been great work done in film already with the fight scenes. And Will Smith was Perfect in ALI.

LeBron's got some big shoes to fill there. Kobe's oscar too .... you know.

One of the things I don't think will change as its followed Lebron where ever he's gone is that when his team wins its about how great Lebron is or was and not so much about how special his teammates might have been. Whereas when Lebron's team has lost its always been well what did Kevin Love or Kyrie not do enough of to help the team win. This isn't Lebron's fault but how the media loves to paint a double standard. Lebron has gotten his fair share of criticism when he hasn't played well but I feel thats been less and less over the years.

    Big Picture:

I just hope our young players have that thick skin and I believe they will to understand the media won't always be fair to them and the great performances they give us while Lebron is on the team. He's going to get much of the attention for better or for worse. Media Day next Monday will be all about him for the most part with questions being asked to our other players how they feel about him on the team, what was it like when he signed, how can he make them better, etc... The circus is in town and as long as our fans & players understand some of the side affects we'll be okay.

That's exactly what I'm alluding to above. He has the power in how he deals with the press in Los Angeles and nationally to shape the perception what HIS Lakers team looks like. Be a great leader like Magic was. Talk to him. You tell the press it's not all about you and "mean it".

I think sales of man purses will be at an all time high in Los Angeles, and there will be bumper stickers on half the cars that say #DoBetter

As far as him dialing back on the king talk: somethings are literally impossible for a narcissist to do, and turning down attention will be one of them. IMHO

This is how Bron does it ....

    https://theinjuryinsight.com/lebron-james-durability-methodology/

Ummm .... don't look now but what are the odds ..... we had the player who was Michel Jordan 2.0 and are all still mourning the passing of Kobe Bryant's unparalleled work ethic and competitiveness from the Lakers. 60 points in the last game of his career and we needed them to win.

I don't know about that winning fire inside James but they have to at least be on the same block in the same neighborhood.

But as far as working as hard as Kobe which was always as hard as he possibly could .... we've done it again. LeBron is the current one of a kind. Read that article when you can. It's long.

Check him working on this one particular exercise. Crazy.

So Kyrie wanted to be dealt away from LeBron in Cleveland.
Paula didn't want to join LABron in LA.
And now Butler doesn't put the Lakers on his short list to play next to LABron.

Duck them dudes....maybe all we really needed was to partner LABron up with a wascally wabbit!

Maybe nobody wants to play with him for “other reasons”

    Just throwing that out there

Trying to stay positive and all, was initially happy he signed on because it puts the team in contention but.. sheesh the politics and antics surrounding him and the fanboism is already out of control. I wish the season was starting the end of this month and not 5 weeks out.

But is it really the same?

One demanded the best of you.

The other is just insufferable to be around. Dresses silly in short suits, carries a purse. Refers to himself in the 3rd person as an English monarch, etc.
