    Matthew 6:1-4
"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

So essentially what sirron is saying is that its a freak in the sheets, but a spambot in the interstreets.

And that bit about the right hand and the left hand...I told y'all it's grabby... And I'll just leave that one alone. But let's just say, sirron's tried to convince Bron to make it part of his pregame routine to stay loose.

Hitting the good stuff early? You should tell me.

Btw how's Memphis and tell Bron hi for us (unless he's already called you an Uber).

He wanted to play with a running team so he could get inflated stats

You'll notice his rebounds and assists are down too lol, and shooting a lower percentage overall, on 3 pt'ers, and FT's

    Plays less D than ever

Please take a reasonable approach to your Lebron slurping.

But hey, for the firs 45 minutes of a game, there may never have been a better player with a more limited arsenal.

Hey, hey... if we are talking about his career numbers, he plays 4 minutes less but scores more, shoots better % overall, better % for 3, rebounds more and has .3 assists less. Same number of blocks and steals, again - in 4 less minutes. Sure, he is 3% worse on FTs. Because he now has Laker-itis.

My mistake for not clarifying. I was talking about from last year, not overall. It's a more accurate reflection of recent times.

    efficiency is down

Basically because of our pace, he's able to get slightly more shots up in less minutes, taking more 3 pt'ers, and shooting slightly more FT's. Unfortunately slightly down on % compared to last year in all 3 categories. (So far) He is also adjusting to a new team, so that may change.

Noticeable dip in rebounds and assists, down on blocks and steals barely, up in PF's, but slightly better on TO's. Overall, you could easily look at this and say he hasn't dropped off, but to just blindly say his scoring is up doesn't really give you the whole picture.

Give him some time, he'll get there. :) Also, that Cleveland team needed more help, IMO of course. But again, the numbers are really impressive in terms of efficiency. Can't deny that. He hits 1 extra 3 a game, which is great for us. And he plays with more playmakers.

at 34 and high mileage, he's more efficient than Kobe ever was.

    Sorry Kobe, but it's true.

The guy almost never shoots below 45%.

Its really impressive. Looks like a bull in a China shop going to the rim but is elegant/cool/strong/skilled enough to finish regardless how much traffic there is.

To be fair to Kobe, he is a different type of player. Kobe is a volume scorer; Bron is a jack of all trades. Bron should be better at rebounding for sure because he is much bigger, but if you compare their FT%, you see he can never shoot the ball like Kobe. They just do things differently. Both are amazing is what I am saying. When you think about it, Bron is a mini version (that sounds strange doesn't it?!) of Shaq. Except Shaq never took care of his body, and when you are 7-1, 350lbs not even cryo-treatment and $1M per year can save your feet, back and knees.

Yeah, he doesn't look nimble in the lane, but he's strong enough to pretty much always gather himself for a decent shot or draw enough contact for a foul. At least in his mind. The tendency to complain when refs don't bail him out is kind of funny and slightly irritating.

The spin move he added is helping him once he gets down deep in the paint.

Great you mention that spin move. It looks obvious, you know he is going to do it but it works every time. I don't quite understand it.

If you are bracing to take that charge though, and he can take it either direction, it's actually pretty effective right now. Maybe he's scouted enough later it's not, but right now it's hilariously effective. Makes you wonder why he waited so long to add it to his bag of tricks.
