He just broadcasted to a full arena that he plans on staying in Boston, so I think this is just him making nice.

Doing the C Bags dirty like that, would make him a MAN in my book.
I would even give his Nike's a try.
(btw, anyone knows comfy b-ball shoes? Preferably low tops or mids? New Kobe's Ad's are trash, killing my feet. Harden's are supposed to be good but i refuse to support that chucker... same reason i won't wear KD's :giggle:).

We have a shot at a title in the 1st 2 seasons of his contract , Lebron will be done after that .

    1) FO did a terrible/laughable job surrounding him in year 1.
    2) Missing the playoffs this season would be a complete disaster . The goal has to be to beat any team not named GS, it's possible with some tweaks at the deadline
    3) Lakers keep doing a terrible job at communicating or rather not communicating about injuries .

As a longtime fan of the Lakers , I'm TIRED of this crap and incompetence for the sixth consecutive season .

And sorry for being selfish here but I spent significant money to come from France to LA to attend 3 games in March .

If the Lakers aren't in the playoffs race anymore , f*** THAT

I have the Kyrie 4s and they're perfect. I also use the PG2s which have been good, but I bought those before he spurned us.

I recently got the new Kobe ADs for xmas and actually like the fit, but I'm slipping all over the court. It's unreal how poor the traction is. I went back to my Kyries for a session and the slipping stopped immediately.

If you go away from Nike, the Dame 3s were pretty good for me and the 4s looked good. I like the look of the Harden's, but I'm with you in refusing to rep that dude.

Yep. The Rondo and McGee signings were OK, but every other signing was a head-scratcher. KCP? Didn't we already do him and Klutch a HUGE 18 million dollar favor last year? Beasley? Would have been an OK signing had the roster not had gigantic holes that needed to be filled. Lance? No clue why we sign him when we already signed KCP and had Hart. Evidently we needed a 3rd 6'5" guy who has a reputation for good defense, but in reality sucks.

This season is turning into a disaster because our youth is being exposed as being mediocre at best (making them worthless in trades). Lebron has proved he can give you a punchers chance against anyone as long as he has one other guy he can count on. We didn't do that and it's looking more and more like we won't be able to until his 3rd year here at the earliest.

So Kyrie basically just called himself a "kid" and apologized to a Laker for it.

Meanwhile that "kid" and Tatum are both Kobe disciples.

    Cbags fans big mad!

Wcsoldier & Savs: We know we're playing the cap game and it obviously worked last summer. BK and cLips are playing the same game for next summer and obviously the core of those teams will dramatically change if their max plans work. So whatever those teams do this year won't really matter cause this year's team would be vastly different to next year's team. I bring those teams up cause some on the board have recently been swooning about those squads.

So same concept applies to us. We're clearly a work in progress with stop gap contracts up and down our roster. We make the playoffs and hope for the best, but next year is when the real magic happens (pun intended).

I understand we messed up on BLo and maybe things could've worked out differently with Jules, but from the free agents available last summer, who do you guys think we realistically could've signed that would have significantly moved the needle and kept our max salary spot open next summer? Remember Kcp, Rondo, Lance took up roughly 25m in cap space while McGee and Beas took exceptions to bypass any cap restrictions...so we had roughly 25m to f*** around with.

DeAndre, JJRedick and Ariza possibly...but DJ wanted to make amends with the Mavs, while JJ is in the same boat as Kcp in that he gained a no trade clause and his early bird rights by re-upped with Philly. As for Ariza, by now we should all know why that didn't happen.

Here are the contracts signed last summer:

Do TyEvans, Ellington or Gay really move the needle for us? For what it's worth, I really liked AvBradley, but what move would make us significantly better while we preserve cap for next summer?

Btw, shooting isnt the be all in this league. You need to set yourself apart and start a new wave, like the dubs did with this Splash movement. Toronto, Okc, Utah and Houston are all in the bottom tier with us in 3pt shooting this year, yet all those teams are probably playoff bound (health willing). Meanwhile, LA is top 10 in FG%. Better shooting will help, but a solid defense is what we should focus on!

Why isn't LeBron coming back on Thursday? I thought for sure he'd be back by then....

So frustrating but I guess better to play the long game here...

I think he comes back the 29th or 31. We should be able to beat Phoenix on Sunday and that would give him a few more days of rest.

It's definitely better to play the long game, but he is almost ready. If this was playoffs, he'd play on Thursday; realistically, there is no need for him to play before Tuesday the 29th.

It would be better if he could play against the Suns ... Getting some rust off before attacking a very important strech of games before the ASG .

The organization is already in next year mode though ... for the sixth season in a row .

You got Lebron but " it's all about next season anyways" .

    How stupid it's that !
