He was playing against euroleague players in those pics. Yeah he needs to train here, or even better hire a former big to workout with. Forget that Euro Elite academy he went to last summer. I saw vids of that of some of that training he did in San Luis Obispo because I was hopeful of Zu coming his 2nd year and blowing up. He looked light on his feet (as in weak and non-aggressive) and just downright soft, slow and easy to push around. Watching him train last summer, it seemed like he thinks it's about graceful interpretive dance with a few lame head fakes and easy-to-read misdirections. No mystery as to why he came in so bad last year. He didn't do the work needed.

I don't know how to feel about him this year yet. he bullied competition in the euro league but that league is what it is. I saw parts of games and saw little guys fall off him like flys. Try having a real big who can disguise putting a shoulder into you as "going after the ball" while you're setting up inside to get your lob or pass and then we'll talk. He'll be standing around looking baffled at his empty hands and then at the refs while everyone is in transition already.

Please do not compare me to the cliche, hyperbolic sap that is Byron Scott.

Seriously. McHale was a half court, post up player. Who in the NBA right now plays like that?

His time taken up with a 2nd job after taxes and LaVar's schemes have taken most of his Lakers salary?

Absolutely...I can't stand that cbag, but I have to admit McHale would put on a clinic against most frontline players in today's game. The youth needs to really get back to fundamentals and making the game a whole lot more dynamic than just hoisting it from 3 point land. Its ironic that McHale was let go for D'phony and his d****** offense. I can't stand that guy and his part in making the game what it is (or ain't) today. Yuck! Also props to McHale for clownin Harden on his way out...

Speaking of the youth....it sure feels like Shaq's and Bron's kids will be #FutureLakers....let it reign!

Wooot whooot whooot ..... he trimmed his beard! Now if he could only do something about his small unathletic looking calves he might really be something one of these days.

Yeah, Staples hasn’t been set up for any Lakers games yet, it’s way too early, this was probably last season. He does like playing there though, he’s been killing us for years.

[IMG] .... oh s***. LOL. Saw the beard and got all excited thinking it was a clip from practice. But look at the improvement. I rest my case.

It's always smiles and optimism this time of year. My favorite one was when D'Angelo Russell would record himself doing weights. That was always fun to watch.

Number of pages for Lebron’s thread, which started in June, eclipsed Kobe’s thread, which started in 2014. Doesn’t seem right.
