just sharing this, Sedano show yesterday on am710 interviewed McMinneman (spelling?)...he stated James and his camp dont trust the FO now and relation is strained and close to disrepair. That can change depending on what happens in FA and coach. However he says james camp is close to probably cutting bait and wanting out if things dont get better but as it stands he doesn't have any conifdence/trust in our FO, Magic thing really put a damper on everything as well (shocker right?)

Translation: Jeanie isn’t letting LeGM and Klutch call the shots, so they wanna take their ball and go home.

I guess thats one way of interpreting it, but I'm on James side here. There's to much garbage going on with the owernship/FO stuff, just to much. I wouldn't blame him for wanting out, I'd do the same, this is a dumpster fire filled with barrels of oil

he most certainly had a hand in this particular dumpster fire, though. the AD fiasco was a huge problem this year, and it wouldn't have existed if lebron's people weren't pulling strings at his behest.

I can't defend that part but he wanted to win and our guys weren't getting it done when he was out....but the FO was a mess even before that AD debacle, we just weren't prevy to all the crap going on behind closed doors. IF mgmt doesn't sign a true max, he should want out and it would be best for both sides to go different routes. We need to go back to building internally and without the distraction of "wasting Lebrons yrs"

I may agree with this sentiment if Bron had provided results himself. He did not, even after having activated PO Bron (what a spectacular upgrade that was). The other players, especially the young ones, may and will improve, Bron won't and we may actually expect a serious decline.

The most reasonable plan to most everybody is maximizing the final stretch of his "greatness", but what if we give up the future and end up just good enough to get to the second round? I have almost as little faith in Bron's ability to carry us to a championship even with significant upgrades to the roster, as I have in the current FO.

I'm not the world's biggest LeBron fan nor do I think we get Kawahi or Klay this summer. But losing LeBron is right now the worst decision the Lakers can make. Here's why.
6 years of losing and our mockery of an FO means the Laker brand has little to offer right now. Combine that with losing LeBron. Who would want to play for the Lakers? Right now our only pitch to free agents......is LeBron!

Even if we trade him for AD the Lakers are not a more appealing destination because of the mess. AD, Rob and Linda Rambis will not lure KD or Kyrie. The best option is keeping LeBron and getting any FA we can to make a better team and win more games.

Winning cures everything. A few seasons of playoff ball and everyone will forget this embarrassment. The Lakers will be a destination again. People are fickle. And that is why this summer is not the time to take that gamble. Keep LeBron, get someone, and start winning basketball games.

Queen James came out and said it's not true on his IG story while doing some sort of "dance" at the Lakers weight room.

Please let this nonsensical media drivel die already. And it's our own fanbase gassing this s***.

Also if a play for AD (or even Simmons down the line) is made...Bron ain't getting traded. For obvious reasons! But let the hatahs keep klutch'n onto their faulty narratives.

Btw NBA playoff viewership is down nearly 20% from last year. Lakers/Bron gotta stay in the news...and this is how.

I do t believe anything Lebron says, and he’s my favorite player. It’s just not in his best interest to tell the truth.

all this bs will go down in history as the most brilliant posturing of all time if we can somehow manage to add AD in exchange for legroin...

Anyone who thinks that the Lakers are going to trade LeBron this offseason is on some laced s***.

There is zero chance of that happening.
