LeBron even alienated Magic Johnson. Made him quit after one season?

What a state we are in when a city like Cleveland can be openly laughing at us, and be completely justified in doing so.

they should copy the drama from this past season into the movie...as Lebron plays out the game, his teammates all get injured instead of losing their abilities, magic comes in (depicted as a troll looking fat bastard types) and offers Lebron a "deal with the devil" type hand shake and gives him a new team of lance, rondo, beasley type talent lvl players lol

Windhorst on fire. For the first time I am so 100% with him.

God damn, I hope Jeanie has a tv in her office and her subscription package includes ESPN. Either that or someone send her this on Instagram or something. :D

    After season thoughts:

-I hate him as much as I thought I did. Rooting for the team this year was extremely difficult when Bron was playing. This is the least fun I've had watching a Lakers team, EVER. I am counting down the days until he hangs them up...hopefully he doesn't re-up after his contract, so he can play with/against his son. Retiring before the contract is up would be ideal.
-The only thing he can do that I will thank him for is bring us another star. I am not holding my breath, he can't even get another star to be in the recycle of MJ's movie. Hopefully he can convince SOMEONE to come put up with his s*** for a few years.
-He's the drama queen, toxic, polarizing, finger pointing, coach firing (or at least attempted), choking, overrated, stat padding "great" that he's always made sure to tell us that he is.

I'll be glad when this Klutch nightmare has come to an end. Hopefully they land us something of value and all this isn't just a 4 year long episode of As The World Turns.

Real quick...final thought: if you believe several reports, upstairs (whether it was Rob, Magic, or Jeanie) at least briefly thought about pulling the plug on the Bron s***show halfway into its first season. What other all time great would a front office even consider that move when they were still heralded as a top 5 player (when healthy)?

I didn't realize until I heard either Brian W. or Woj on ESPN yesterday morning say that we could only have two more years with Lebron left now. His last year is a player option. I always thought the 4 years he signed didn't have any options. Yes the no trade clause but that option part surprised me.

I don't know if the years or math works out between Lebron and his son (where he is in school) but I could see him declining his PO that last year and going where ever his son is at when he gets to the league. Or trying to have his last year in the NBA be with CLE. Seeing Wade retire with the Heat and Dirk with Dallas it would just be odd for him if Lebron retired with any team but the Cavs

This is why I've been saying the whole time, by the time the young core develops, he's out of here. Can't mix youth movement and *win now*. We need to trade them this offseason, except maybe Ball.

I'd welcome him in a heartbeat. That alone will completely change the way teams have to defend us. Trade everyone for Davis and suddenly you're looking at a contender.

You had me until you said trade everyone for AD. You never trade your whole team for one player, no matter how good that player is. AD is the man, but nah.

I'd rather have the Lakers being run by Klutch and LeBron than Jeanie and Snitch.

Unlike the latter, the former at least has a successful resume in making finals after finals. Jeanie and Snitch have never been successful at anything related to basketball before and there is zero reason to think it will change. They aren't going to wake up and suddenly become intelligent or competent.

yeah, sadly, the la lakers brought to you by klutch is currently the superior alternative.

Best analysis of the year. Perfectly put by Windhorst.
