So KD is bigger than AD? Thats surprising.

Why is AD looking tiny compared to KAT and Lamarcus?

Again, did not watch as could not. I did record it but probably still won't watch it. As bad as the rising stars game is these days the real thing isn't much better.

That said how did our All Star look?

Not that I care a whole lot ......

^He definitely wasn't the MVP, but his team came back from 20 down and his step back 3 over Embiid and the lob from Ky to follow it up, turned a 5 point game into a 10 point cushion down the stretch. #Klutch

Pretty good game down the stretch and Bron/KD with some solid D on Giannis/Embiid down low.

Distortion of a wide angle lens. Subjects on the side of the frame will look stretched and bigger. Subjects closer to the camera will also look bigger.

Not to pick a nit here but I'm shooting some real estate interiors these days too and very familiar with wide angle perspectives. You are correct in what wide and ultra wide focal lengths do to the sides of images but am pretty certain that is not a wide angle lens. It's a group portrait and may even have shot with a bit of telephoto. You would have to stand way too close to shoot that with very wide angle and it would be poor photography. Only thing they could have done is maybe a very moderate 35mm with high resolution that they cropped into. That might account for a little for Towns and Aldridge. Dude is shorter than the guys he looks shorter than. But Durant goes 6' 10-11" these days who he's next to. Damn it looks like Simmons has grown. For that matter Towns too!! He looks huge both in height and has muscled up as well. Was listed at 7' when he came into the league at 19 four years ago.

LOL no wonder AD doesn't like to play the 5. Embiid's 7'2" as well and others. But yeah the big man is dead?

Hmm, I'm a bit of a photography nut myself, and if it were a telephoto, the guys on the back would look bigger due to compression. Klay is no where as tall as Durant, and KAT isn't as big as he appears on the photo. I'm guessing the photographer was limited by the size of the setting.

I’m a photoshop guy, and it appears some logos have been manipulated in that photo.

Could be and that would make sense to have to use a wider FL in that situation. I'd kind of moved off the short telephoto thinking myself by the end of my thoughts. Should have just deleted it. Would really like to know what length that was shot with as there are some really puzzling things about the image with the heights. Maybe around 24-28mm?

I'm sure Lebron is glad he had Durant on his team. It's why he picked him #1.

Good game, especially the ending! Looked like team Giannis was going to dominate and they seemed to for three quarters, but glad team Lebron played some D and closed this one out.

Lebron definitely looked a bit old/not himself probably still not totally there since his injury. KD turned it on, but this game was Giannis' break out IMO. He just put everyone on notice. 38 points and he was completely on fire. Yes they clamped down on him at the end, but I thought he was the MVP of this one win or lose. He certainly showed everyone what he is capable of and that he is the most compelling player in the game right now. Just wait till this kid hits his prime. He's the future of the NBA.

he's looked creaky at times all year, but maybe moreso since returning. that said, his "creaky" has still been QUITE effective.

as for who's the best player in the game right now? it's a lot closer than it's been for a while. i could see cases made for durant, lebron, giannis, davis, and maybe even leonard and george given how good they are on both ends.

if the point is that the lakers not making the playoffs means lebron isn't the best, i disagree, though. it would be true if he hadn't missed so many games, but he has, and that's why we're missing the playoffs. it's like when we missed them in 2005 with kobe. he missed like, 20 games, else we'd have been in. didn't mean he all of a sudden wasn't dominant. it meant the team around him was bad (and, like this year, also injured--iirc, odom and butler both missed chunks like lonzo and rondo and ingram this year).
