Was kind of long-winded for me, 3-4 minutes is my attention span for athlete interviews. Not as bad as baseball or football players though, not sure there are more boring people on earth thanks to the cliches they were taught to spout whenever they speak.

LeBron, Kuz, Ingram, and Lance, lost to Rondo, Beas, McGee, and KCP in a 3 point shooting contest?

    :KobeConfused:

I woulda lost money on that one.

I am not a Lebron guy. Likely never will be. I was indifferent when he signed. The only thing I care about is winning titles. He helps, so here we are. I have a people detector that most people around me do not understand. Lebron is a good guy, does the right thing, stays out of trouble, but there is just this wussiness about him I never liked and dont like. He is full of himself in a way that's condescending. Kobe, MJ, those guys are all likely full of themselves as well but I never felt it was because of some feel good, wussy thing. It was to build something to dominate. That's what I am used to. I feel like Lebron is full of himself in the entitlement way.

The girl who asked him if he thinks he will earn the Laker fans loyalty was a prime example. His answer initially, wasn't a bad answer when he said I signed a 4 year deal. But if he was such a basketball guru, he probably should have said, Lakers fans loyalty will come when we win championships. That's how I see it anyway.

He was incredulous at the question. Like, “I have have to EARN their respect?”

“Girl, I already have it because I’m MFN Lebron James, I know what I bring to the table, and I’m gracing you with my presence for 4 years. You’re LUCKY to have me.”

Everything about what LeBron said is 100% accurate. "Earn the fans' respect?" Um... what?

This dude signed with a 35 win team when other players weren't accepting our calls. He doesn't need to earn anything. She needs to take her *** back to TMZ.

To be honest, she was more disrespectful than he was. I'm sure it happened, but can you imagine someone talking to Shaq like that after he signed in '96? Not even at media day either, but at practice? If I'd gotten that question I would have just laughed in her face.

I agree it was a stupid question, and the only intent of people to ask questions like that is to try to find something inflammatory for a headline.

A More humble personality might’ve said something about working hard every day, play my hardest for the fans, try to win a championship, etc.

They could have both done better

2018- Paul George signed at 9:01 PM PST.
2017/2018- Kevin Durant refuses (albeit politely) to take a meeting.
2016- Lakers panic and hand out awful contracts to the only players who will sign with a bad team.
2015- LaMarcus Aldridge openly mocks the Lakers' meeting, agent has to save face with second presentation. Still rejects the team.
2015- DeAndre Jordan laughs at the Lakers presentation, reported as embarrassing.
2015- Greg Monroe signs with Bucks, doesn't take meeting with the Lakers.

Don't speak on things you don't understand.

After the Nash, Dwight thing i am pretty sure no one big wanted his brand tarnished with Kobe still there who also got a legacy contract. Kobe retired in 2016. Your team is in a great place to attract stars.

James and Lakers coach Luke Walton will huddle Friday, sources told ESPN, to determine if the 33-year-old embarking on his 16th NBA season, will suit up for the opener in L.A.'s six-game exhibition slate.

"I don't know," James told ESPN after practice Wednesday when asked about how he plans to manage the preseason schedule. "I don't need preseason games [at this stage of my career] to get ready."
He's not going to play in first preseason game .Wtf

Just play him in the first half, the team needs to gel and we need to figure out line ups and rotations.

Uh trying to resist feeding the obvious troll...

But to all the haters saying Bron would play GM and only come here if someone came with him or we had to trade our youth to have him commit here...nah bruh

To all the haters saying he'd drag out free agency into mid July...nah bruh

To all the haters saying he would sign 1yr deals to leverage our FO a la Gilbert Gawdstfu...nah bruh

To all the haters saying he would make a spectacle of his signing here and make it the LABron show...nah bruh

To all the haters still gLicking their chops to come up with something, anything to criticize LABron's "decision" to come to LA...just nah bruh!

Now go take your seat under the bridge, cause it's going to be a minute till you collect a toll.

With his mileage, he'd be smart to not play much preseason actually. You want to see the gang playing together, but I think we'd rather all see him in the playoffs than the preseason. (If we had a choice) But injuries can happen anywhere at anytime. His number is coming, and his career is coming to a close. I sincerely hope with the financial commitment that we've made that he doesn't experience a sudden and swift end. That would definitely be below average.
