I just can't wrap head around the fact that last year was Lebron's highest in rebounds and assists. He's basically a trip-doub average at 27.5/9.1/8.6 in his 16th season.

It was his 5th best in points @27.5 (and that's only 3.9 pts off his best ever, and 3rd in the league). The last 2 seasons he had .548 & .542 FG% which are his 3rd and 4th best FG%s. And that's no Tyson Chandler 4-attempts-per-game overrated-type stat, the man takes around 20 attempts per game career (19.3 last year). His 3Ps were a respectable .366, 2nd best of his career but he's also taking 5 a game now. He's running career averages on steals and blocks so no drop off there.

If he really is going to move his game inside more I predict we'll see him at the line more which of course helps us greatly.

I also have a feeling the scouting report on the Lakers is going to be really short and sweet - PROTECT THE RIM, MAKE THEM SHOOT. Hopefully our shooters will develop, benefit from being open more and make them pay for that approach. If JR Smith could do it, our guys can do it.

This is how I expect us to use LeBron in half court sets. We missed so so so many easy baskets where Julius didn't trust the baseline cut for some reason. We usually got great results when he made the pass but he usually hesitated or just didnt make the pass at all.

Yes he is unreal. For all the reasons I hated him back then early Miami days... At this point even as a huge Kobe fan I think LeBron has surpassed him fairly easy.

Peak LeBron and peak Kobe might be on the same level but overall LeBron really to me is the 2nd best player ever. His numbers are unreal, they are efficient and consistent as hell, he gets to the finals every year losing to a superhuman team, he is clutch, he never gets hurt...unreal

There just isn't anything he is not great at.

I'm going to say Lebron is the most gifted athlete of all time, which is a testament to his amazing body of work and efficiency.

I think the most skilled player of all time was MJ then Kobe. Those two had everything when it came down to fundamentals and all around game. To have the shooting, post game, footwork, tenacious defense, and killer mentality, I'm not sure Lebron has that entire package, as amazing as Bron is. Kobe and MJ's post game was unmatched, the league was lucky they were not Lebron or even Shaq's size, they would've surpassed Kareem's scoring record in the post alone. Defensively, I just really enjoyed Kobe going after any team's best player and take them head on without fear, and he did it to the tune of multiple First Team All Defense. Bron's known more for his help defense, which helps the team out as well.

Overall, I think the stats will show that Lebron is the better player at the end of day, and I hate comparing players because every player is different. I just want to appreciate being able to witness these amazing players, and we're so damn lucky to have two of the greatest of all time on the freaking Lakers.

That's just the latest two. Wilt, Shaq, Kareem, Elgin, West, Worthy, Gasol, even Mikan if you want to go that far back. We've been blessed.

So, you think that LeBron is already above Kareem, Jordan, Magic and Kobe?

    Jordan? No.

    Everyone else: yes.

LeBron is better than Kobe, Magic and Kareem. It's just my opinion, doesn't mean it is indisputable lol.

Magic was stunning but not as complete as LeBron. Magic was a better passer by a wide margin but LeBron to me is better at the other aspects (defense, shooting, athleticism, longevity, overall scoring, getting to the rim).

Kareem certainty matches LeBron in longevity bug overall give me LeBron.
