I do really think both Larry and JC are going to flourish there

His biggest "hit" was crying like a little b**** to David Stern and other owners to start the ball rolling on rescinding our perfectly legitimate trade for Chris Paul. That is the one disaster that started this last 5 years of hell for the Lakers. So yeah no love lost here for the guy.

Butler is a solid defender, but he got sonned on that play. Just overmatched physically

    gilbert's great human strengths:

    1. predatory lending
    2. happening to own a team when they won the lottery in lebron's draft year (and in lebron's home area)
    3. artistically mismatching fonts to email tones
    4. whining
    5. unnecessary alienation

but he's got way more money than me, so...victory.

Hoping Bron squeezes every last cent out of Gilbert before he LeBounces.

You see that OKC tax bill...well that could go up to anywhere from $150-200M next season if Clay decides to retain the OK3. Good luck.

I listened to Allen's podcast and thought Sirron's twitter trolling has already reached an all time high for mainstream media to start noticing:giggle:

Don't get your hopes up. There's lots of fans that would honestly prefer to stink longer, but keep all the young guys than skip a painful rebuild and jump back into contention. I don't really get it, but it's their deal.

I also find it strange how there are some fans that want to just build through the draft, but some of them will also jump down the FO throats if they fail in FA.

At this point, I want Lebron because I see a realistic avenue where we can keep Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, Randle and Hart while adding PG and LBJ. I would have always taken him because he is Lebron, but I would have done so reluctantly. Now? We can ride Lebron and PG for 2-3 years and then have PG in his prime with all our youth in their primes. It kind of sets us upi (theoretically) for a long run of contention.

This has been my dream all along. Get those two, run to the Conference Finals, and go to war with the Warriors for the foreseeable future all before our kids hit their prime. We could conceivably win a title with LeBron/George leading the way and our kids all in their early 20s still. Then when they start to come into their own, LeBron is on his way out and we reset with George being the old vet that keeps the ship steady while Ball, Ingram, Kuzma slowly take over and rule the league their own way.

    This is me.

Ooops ... except the always wanting him. But I've come to the realities of the situation and keeping Randle makes me now super excited to see that death lineup on the floor. Wow.

I admit I’ve been on team “Bring Lebron to LA” because my quest for title #17 and beyond trumps my hatred for him (and I really can’t stand the guy). But, seeing how he’s had to blow up teams now on two occasions makes me pause a bit. What if he comes and it doesn’t work here immediately? Does he try to run off all our talented young players?

Some of you would freak if the FO wanted to sign a long time C bag like Paul Pierce, but look down on others who feel the same about drama queen narcissist LLLLLebron. Inconsistent standards out of desperation to win?

Hold your ground! Keep your standards! Don’t sell your soul for a few extra temporary wins! It’s not worth it!
