He just became the first player in NBA history to get 35+ points, 15+ assists, and no turnovers.

edit- his actual quote in the article is: “I’ll make a call to Jesus if I have to,” Frye said, “if that’s going to help get a win.”

    :D :D :D

Look, if LeBron comes to the Lakers, it will be because he a) wants to be in LA, and b) has faith in our FO to make the Lakers into a contender. It WON'T be because he views the Lakers as having the best available roster on the first day of free agency. If that's the only criteria, we lose. So for that reason, it really doesn't even matter whether Philly is on a tear, or Houston can make the right moves to keep CP3 and Harden. Those factors are already set in place, and if they matter to LeBron, then that's it, he's not coming to the Lakers. All that matters is the degree to which he wants to be in LA, and whether he believes in our FO. None of that is going to change in the next 10 games. We
(those that want him here) just have to hope that the LA/FO factors are what's driving his decision, and not Embiid's and Simmons' stats in March.

Man, I really stepped in it when I opened my big mouth, huh? Of course, the reason I did that was because we were having a robust debate here over whether we gave up too much in that trade, and possibly traded a future superstar for pennies on the dollar. I wanted put peoples' fears to rest, and let everyone here know that, "no, we didn't." If you knew what I knew, you'd be relieved we got DLO off our team and out of our locker room. I figure one of two things will happen: either the information will become publicly known, at which point I can confirm that this was what I learned, or DLO will do something reprehensible, like murder/assault someone, and then I won't feel bad about divulging it, because at that point who cares? In the meantime, just be content knowing we didn't lose anything of great value in that trade, and offloading Moz will have been necessary to make the PG-13/Bron era possible.

Okay. So now we know it's somewhere between murder/assault and jaywalking...

i'm a huge lebron proponent on these forums, but i must admit that getting karl malone and steve nash in the seasons they finally broke down makes me a bit nervous.

    it does happen eventually.

What it means is that those Miami “doctors” have some good s***. It’s possible the come down from that will be like popping a balloon though.

i wouldn't say malone broke down. if stupid-a** scott williams didn't fall on him i have no doubt they would have won it all in '04 with a healthy malone. hell, he was still shutting down duncan with one knee

nash's injury was kind of a freak thing too like malone but i'm pretty sure he'd been having back issues for a while and that injury was the nail in the coffin

Nash bumped knees with Lillard and took his old a*** a long time to recover too.
