    I think he’s the player who makes me feel closest to how opposing team fans must have felt when they played against Kobe. A mix of frustration and dread because you know whatever the score is, he’s probably gonna find a way to kill you.

    Would absolutely love him on the Lakers and kind of confused why so many fans here had such a negative/indifferent reaction when his name popped up in trade rumors/speculation.

    I want him to be a Laker REAL bad. He's probably my favorite non-Laker.....when he's not nuking us back to the stone age every 4th quarter we play him.

    Not sure that plays into the Lakers cards considering the hope is/was that Magic can convince these stars in personal meetings.

    I'm sure Rob and Magic would've preferred a f2f meeting.

    Lakers don’t need a full presentation. All they need is for Magic and Rob to have a basic conversation once league rules permit. I feel very confident in their ability to close this deal.

    I think he’s telling other teams not to waste their time (and Lebron’s time) with extravagant pitches ... because he likely already knows his decision.

    He doesn’t need to meet with Magic and get pitched. He knows what LA means, and he knows what Magic’s influence is. They’ve likely already talked...

    This is a good move and coincides with reports that he will make a decision soon. Which is good for us since he may need to be our first domino. It would suck if he had to go through the motions and line up several days of 3 hour pitches that he already knows he’s not interested in, and then during that wait George signs elsewhere.
