Not cherry picking at all. Thomas along with the hiring of Stevens turned the C Bags around. They were basically where we were right now in rebuild move and now they're at worst the second best team in the East.

Kyrie is a very clutch player and has definitely come up huge in the playoffs and Finals in the 4th quarter, but there's a reason the Cavaliers can't win without LeBron. Just look at their numbers when he sits and that's why they've had to play him so much in the regular season.

Not on Kyrie's level? What exactly is Kyrie better at? They're both very clutch players, both excellent scorers, average playmakers, and terrible defensively. Difference is Isiah has at least proven he can play at an MVP level without another superstar on the team. Kyrie hasn't.

If they're equal, or Thomas is better, why did Boston give 2 other players and a #1 pick (that will most likely be top 3) ??

I believe the fact that Thomas will be an FA forced Boston to give the pick and two players. I don't think the weasily genius of Ainge will allow him to give more. If I were Phoenix, I'm gonna swoop in and give Jackson and Bledsoe.

yeah, i'm sure cleveland is saying to other suitors: you've seen what we accepted. match it, and kyrie's yours.

Cleveland now wants to add Tatum or Brown as expected...lol Ainge on a vise placed by a rookie gm, see how simple Mitch and CL Sky felt after "losing" Marcus Banks

(boston) media putting the full court press to get this deal done.

i'd love to see cleveland back out fully and pursue a trade with a different team (phx, looking your way). would love to see boston clean up after it.

I think it was reported that Phoenix wasn't as into the deal as previously thought. Bucks being a dark horse here, offering Middleton and Brogdon.

as i suspected. i still would have pulled out if i were cleveland. if thomas can't suit up, you just handed the conference championship to a rival and helped push lebron further out the door.
