Omar brought up the question in Gametime. If this question upsets any Dlo die hards ..... blame him.

Jerry West, "I've seen enough" My vote to Kuzma. I love this kid.

I love everything I'm seeing from Kuz and what with TIME early on believing he could be something great for us, but we still haven't seen how it looks against real NBA talent consistently (yes I know the Nets just played with 4-5 of their guys that played significant minutes last year). Russell would have looked great with Lonzo as well I believe and I know he can get hot real quick in the NBA game which is way I voted for Russell.

But I love our future with the both of these guys and really hope that he gets playing time in the NBA season. Pre-season games will be a blast.

If they are both hot and scoring the ball (Kuz 31 and 26 point efforts in SL) ..... Kuz does more things well by far and he is taller than DAR. Looks like he will bring that game consistently every night. DAR hot and cold with his shot and his effort all season more likely that DAR showing Kuz's level of effort and consistency. Nance motor in Kuzma.

But does Kuz have ice in his veins?

Talent is obviously important, but you got to have the right mentality. I always disliked the DLo pick and I was just waiting for him to prove my 1st impressions of him wrong. Safe to say, I shouldn't lose sleep over it now, cause its not our problem anymore.

I'm going to ride with guys that show good character along with their talent. That's why I feel like I gravitated towards Nance out of all our rooks. Dude just works out there and has a good head on his shoulder. He's got Nice in his veins and that is what I need...an overall good guy that you can be proud to cheer for.

Kuz seems like that guy right now...and I'm hoping that continues. I just want this culture to change. I was extremely happy to have the SwaggyP-Dloading culture kicked to the curve early in the offseason. How you gonna have ice in your veins "leading" the worst Lakers basketball product this organization has ever seen in its illustrious history? Man F that noise. Good riddens to that type of "leadership".

Bring on these high character kids that are making it look fun out there. I'll ride with that culture all day. And if things keep trending in this direction (cause I have a good feeling Lopez is going to look good for us), we absolutely won that trade.

I didn't want to give up on Russell because of his skill set. All I know is that Kuzma has impressed me not only because of his skill but his effort and bball IQ.

I'm very happy that Kuzma is a Laker, very happy. I'll end on that note.

Yeah I wanted to see a Ball / Dlo backcourt, but it was not to be.

Ball / Kuzma is gonna be our NexGen Stockton / Malone killer combo.

I love Kuz and everything about him. He has two big advantages over Dlo for THIS team. Defense & Attitude.

Oh boy. :D I'll say this. The way Lonzo has got guys enjoying passing, running the floor hard, cutting/moving, and the energy and skill that Kuzma plays with, I don't miss Russell right now. Russ' lackadaisical attitude on the court was infuriating to me at times. Middle of last season I was so pissed I said I don't care if we trade him. He brought me back around the rest of the season, but he's gone now, I've moved on. I'm happy that we have guys now that are made for Luke's system and want to push and run, and that make the right play, over the fancy play, leading to stupid turnovers.

Until Kuz makes some noise in the NBA, he's not even in Clarkson's league. Literally.

    This is a ridiculous statement.

You can pretty much said the same thing with all the top picks in the summer league and same goes with Ben Simmons, since they never Played in the regular season.

JHJ was guarding Kuz the whole game and this dude was one of the top defensive player last year in the NBA. Kuz made him looked like a fool all game long.

Thats the better question and i believe he would, same way why we thought nance was picked so high when no one heard of him, if hart can play we'll definetly not miss dlo, hart has much more potential than dlo defensively, i always said dlo was NEVER going to be a good defender with his lack of speed and attitude

Without Russell's crappiness and inability to turn around the Lakers we owe him a debt of gratitude for getting us Ingram and Ball :)

Imagine if the Lakers took Porzingis we probably would win a few more games and never have Ball.

    Thanks for being you Russell.

lol we do love our own, I defended DAR even knowing his shortcomings but this poll will be a landslide for pitting a current SL star against a traded former Laker who divides the fanbase

You're not a big baller with the eye test I see. That's no fun with that particular cliche that I just hit Weezy with too. (his [skills] could fall off a cliff in the NBA) Yes you see it or No you don't .... rather it looks like 50 /50 to you he could bust in the NBA? Go out on a limb. When did Clarkson start looking like he was going be a 3 point threat for us or a really good defender? After watching Kuz carefully it's this? Honestly?
