My husband is a huge Kobe Bryant fan, and I want to get him something to add to his collection for his birthday. He already has a signed basketball which I'm going to get a case for, along with having the newspapers he ordered from Kobe's last game framed. I'm thinking about a jersey, so my question is, from purely a fan perspective, is it better to have a jersey signed by Kobe Bryant, or a game jersey that was worn by Kobe Bryant? Price-wise, I'm kind of in an either/or situation, based on what I've found Thanks!
It's all very subjective. I'd prefer to have a game-worn jersey if you can afford it. A game-worn jersey that Kobe signed would be amazing of course. Good luck!
In terms of collecting value, I don’t know how anyone could confirm a particular Jersey was worn by an athlete, while a signature can be authenticated much easier.
