    I wish to hell more of our own team, or any of our own team for that matter, would lock this down with Kobe this summer. What a resource going to waste. Go hang for a couple hours with him in his private gym at the house at his convenience WHENEVER.

    I'm about halfway through this right now and the biggest thing I've gotten so and something that is new, something I'm sure not a lot of fans have heard before is this:

    Kobe said at the end of his career those last 2-3 years or so Jeanie and Management called Kobe and Rob up and said we're real sorry for not being able to put a contending team around you because you put so much work in during your career with us they (the Lakers) felt bad for Kobe. They said If you would like you can give us a list of team and we can make some calls to try and get you on a contender.

    You can check it out at the 30:27 mark and get the full answer from Kobe and Jeanie. Very interesting and something I never heard before. Kobe kind of felt bad for Mitch too, haha.

    Kobe later at 34:10 makes it crystal clear what he would have done if he was Lebron or KD. He's not ashamed to disagree and have an opinion about going to a contender.
