You are just salty about the Euros... and won't admit it.

Accusing Pau of being unprofessional is laughable...

Like many others here, I grew up with Kobe's career. I was 10 in '96. And for 20 years, he's inserted countless memories in some of the most pivotal moments of my life with his basketball heroics. I couldn't be happier.

Thanks Kobe, I can't say it enough times.

Its a very sad day...its finally here...the nightmare.

With that said, I would have never imagined Kobe to be this bad. Even last year he still looked somewhat capable but out of sync.

This year he just doesn't have anything left in the tank. I think the thing I'm most shocked about is how fast Kobe's skills deteriorated...it seems like athleticism is everything. You can't do **** with moves if you have dead legs as we can see right now.

Never going to see a player this determined to win again... it sure is going to be a different league when he walks off the floor that last time. (sounds like it might be sooner than the end of the season to me..)

    Thanks Kobe.

Entire Kobe Bryant Post-Game Press Conference About his Retirement

    http://www.nba.com/lakers/video/teams/lakers/2015/11/30/1448870104299-151129PostgameKobe.mov-143910

As sad as it is, do yourself a favor and watch this in its entireity if you haven't already. I enjoyed this press conference very much and was hanging on every word coming from Kobe's mouth. He's so at peace, so willing to tell stories, and is so brutally honest how can you not enjoy this.

Words can not express how much he has meant to me as a young man growing up. When times were tough, when times where wonderful, no matter what was happening in my life I would always come home from school or now my job and be excited that the Lakers were playing that night and I got to see my idol play. I count it a tremendous blessing to have been have to watch, meet, and learn from Kobe when our paths crossed years ago. Those memories and countless others will never be forgotten.

ESPN has been laughing at and s****** on Kobe all season. He announces his retirement yesterday, and now it's Kobe Bryant day on ESPN, nothing but respect. Boy they eat up a good story. F*** that fake network. Also JR Smith is right, never thought I'd ever say that, but he is, never a more under appreciated great.

Lastly, Dwight Howard remains an ***hole. He didn't learn anything from Kobe, that's probably why his team hasn't won anything and currently sucks.

What a piece of **** that guy is. Can't even show respect as the chapter finishes? That's why you suck now and you'll never be anything other than a blip on the NBA radar. **** that moron.

    ^^^ Sound bite from above

Was asked if he learned anything from Kobe, he laughed like a child, then said next question.

From BSPN. Still a jerk, no surprise.

DWIGHT HOWARD'S THOUGHTS ON KOBE BRYANT
It's no secret Howard and Bryant have a somewhat frosty relationship. So when asked if he had learned anything from his former teammate, Howard laughed and said: "Awww man. We're going to go to the next question." But he also praised Kobe saying "[He's] one of the greatest to play the game."

Kobe before has said he doesn't want a farewell tour and all that fanfare but I'm glad he decided to announce his retirement after this season. Maybe he'll finally get the credit and praise he deserves from the media, better late than never.

Not surprising. Dwight is a clown. Always has and will be. Of course he didn't learn anything from Kobe because he didn't want to. This is the same guy who quit on the team when he got ejected in his last game as a Laker. For all the talk about Bynum being a disappointment he's much more of a Laker then Dwight ever was.
