    Yeah if KD comes here and we win it all...it'll be the exact opposite of ring chasing given we didn't even make the playoffs last year.

    I actually think this is the best place for KD to resurrect his career image. Come in and help LeBron get another ring but KD gets finals MVP?

    And then KD/AD rule the league for years as LeBron trails off into the sunset...

    If KD came to the Lakers in FA, I wouldn’t even want to trade any of our youngins for AD anymore.

    Surround KD and LeBron with quality talent that aren’t just old ring chasers, and a deep bench with the rest of the cap money and we’re a championship team IMO.

    We could get to 32.5m if we cut JJ.

    KD's starting max figure is 38.2m. In an interview with Haynes, KD said he wasn't giving any more discounts... That could just be for Lacob, but I assume that's for any team that looks to sign him this summer.

    Dubs can give him the most cumulative money/years in a contract.

    So if it is KD and we honor his salary demands, we need to shed roughly 6m in contracts off our books. That means at the very least, Moe/Kuz/Hart combined traded for future picks and/or trading for a 25 or lower pick this summer or trading our 4th, BI or Zo for a future pick/lower pick this summer.
