Kyrie and KD to New York would be great for us. I think it would really balance out the league. New York would be good, but not unfairly so. Probably still behind Toronto, Philly, Milwaukee, etc. Boston would likely implode and lose out on AD. Golden State would become mortal again.

Durant in New York with Kyrie would be great. But If Durant cant handle the media in the Bay, he better grow some balls in New York. Because they will ride him out of his mind if he acts like the b**** he has been the last 3 plus years.

We don't need this crybaby. No balls. Cannot win in Okla? Join the stronger team with 3 allstars? Thanks. No need.

I really liked his response when he was asked about Lebron picking him first in the all star draft two years in a row.

“Well what else is he supposed to do”?

Don’t get it twisted. As much as you may want to criticize his decision, I personally think KD is the best player in the world right now. If he even entertained the thought of signing with us, we have to do everything to make it possible.

i really disliked durant's move to gs, but in some ways, i do like how he and cousins took control of their narratives from the media. the press doesn't get to say durant can't lead a winner now--he could have gotten tmac'd in okc, and now it can't happen. it frees him to do what he wants now with his career.

another angle to the super team argument: if the fans and media didn't put so much emphasis on titles as a measure of greatness, would we see this as much? i think not. all anyone says about malone and barkley is that they never won a title. it's pretty stupid.

anyway, we should thank super teams in one respect: no way lebron comes to this team if he hadn't already gotten his title via the path of least resistance.

don't get me wrong: as i said yesterday, i'm anti-super team. but we're complicit in the problem.

KD to the clips, then ballmer moves the team to Seattle and rebrands them the Sonics. Career full circle.

Everyone says there is zero chance of him in Purple & Gold, his head has grown so big only New York City can hold it. Hopefully only a 2nd or 3rd tier star will join him there like Kemba Walker and KD can be the next Carmelo (albeit a lot better) of the Knicks in his post-GSW-band-wagonning years.

Thread should be moved. He has nothing to do with Lakers news.

If Durant is smart, he goes to the Clippers if Kawhi goes. He could killed 2 birds with one stone there. Clippers would offically be tier 1 in LA over the Lakers and that team would take out GS next year.

    sorry I'll rephrase"

Everyone in a position to have knowledge (like media with sources like Bucher etc) coming from KD's camp say he is NY bound. Not to discredit your sources though.

Jerry West is over there. It's likely that could happen. I mean, he helped convince him the last time he was a free agent. And this time, he would be the man because Kawhi doesn't give a hoot about that stuff.
