Not too surprising... but thought for sure he'd give the Thunder one more shot before he bolted.

Just saw on ESPN. They're now the favorites. What happens to Barnes? Someone will max him out.

just lost all respect for him

durant was the one current superstar that i'd never take for pulling a lebron and trying to win "that way." i always liked him because he played the game and didn't open his mouth every minute like other NBA stars, and also because of his respect and admiration for kobe. i really felt durant was the closest thing to kobe in terms of his competitiveness in today's NBA but boy was i wrong

i 100% thought he would stay in OKC and try to win there but it turns out he's just another superstar who wants to win the easy way. i'm really getting over the NBA with crap like this

So... He was up 3-1 on them, lost the series and decided to join them? Wow. Don't talk about the showtime or C Bags in their prime. I can't think of a top player, joining the best team. It's like Malone joining 96 Bulls or Duncan joining 3peat Lakers...

B!tch move. About as simple as that. This is way worse than the Heat in 2011.

However, no denying that GS is going to be absolutely stacked. Four top 10/top 15 players including the top PG, SG, and PF as well as the No. 2 SF. I'm sure they'll take a bit to gel and losing some of their role players will hurt a little, but in the end the sheer amount of talent is going to be hard to overcome for the rest of the league.

If only Stern were still around to enforce his "basketball reasons" on this ordeal...

I got your point but i think that people are litle overreacting, it is not like there is gs-okc rivalry or steph vs kd...
I think that moving from okc was good move for him, he gave them enough chances and he dont think he can win a ring at okc...the only other team that made sense was gsw.
everything went wrong when they keeped porkins and traded harden, they were never realy able to recover from that blow...

I'm a bit surprised. I thought he'd give OKC another shot with Westbrook there for another year. They were what? 4 minutes away from the Finals? I suppose trading Ibaka had something to do with it.

But man... if Golden State don't win it next year... LOL.

As for Barnes? Dallas offered him max money :KobeConfused:

Chump move. I'm a little surprised to be honest. Oh well, now the league has a new villain.

I feel relief he didn't sign with Boston. It would've been disgusting. I'm more happy the C Bags lost out.

LeBron joining Wade and Bosh and adding Ray Allen for his first two didn't tarnish his legacy.

Also Russell is probably gone next season, hopefully we can get him in a Lakers Jersey? Maybe?

I like it, LeBron will never win another ring, and the C Bags won't get close to one.

Also the Warriors need to figure out how to put that team together, they added Mike Brown too, those are a whole bunch of puzzle pieces to try and make fit. Doesn't mean they're favorites.
