    @therealdeal you pointed out the key which is defensively Ball, Ingram, and Pope can switch constantly similar to what Golden St does. Saves a lot of energy on the defensive end!

    Btw to anyone curious. Pope is 6'6" 205 with a 6'8" wingspan.

    According to a Pistons fan, he's not quite the defender we think he is; he struggles against bigger SG's (DeRozan) and struggled handling the quicker guards when Detroit tried to use him that way.

    FYI..so, well, I've been promoting his defensive attribute, he's apparently not quite "elite" but "good" and an upgrade over what we had last year.

    I would consider Derozan more of a SF than a SG at 6'7, although, he does play SG.

    I think he fairs better against the quicker PG/SG types than the bigger guards.

    Heck, we were 30th defensively. He's an upgrade over Russell, Young, and JC.

    He's an upgrade and that's all we really need to worry about. If he were the greatest thing since sliced bread he wouldn't have been in this situation, but as long as he's an upgrade that's all we need to concern ourselves with really.

    Dude is a starting caliber 2 guard. A good defender and a 15 point scorer.

    When was the last time the Lakers had that? It's been a weak link on this team for years.



    KCP had a career high 38 vs New Orleans last year so obviously a guy capable of getting hot.

    So in one summer, Magic has turned Mozgov into Lopez and Swaggy into KCP...

    if Magic can get rid of Deng and Brewer's contract before the deadline, i'll build a 2nd statue outside Staples myself
