This guy is still painful in front of the camera. Poor guy just seems so uncomfortable.

I wanted to say the same thing. :D Glad to have him, but we don’t need to hear from him much, really it’s ok. Guy might be awesome in the locker room, but on camera he’s a piece of wood.

eh, he's just not super sharp or articulate. loved hearing "defense" coming out of his mouth first.

    worthy has good questions, btw.

No, we're just saying let the man do his thing. He's clearly a man of few words and he's camera shy. Let him be and let him do his thing. I genuinely feel bad for him sitting in front of a camera.

This should be the job of the producer to not put a man who does not like to speak on camera. You want info from him, do it verbally and print it. This is just one of many low-end productions of SSN. It happens everywhere but SSN does some terrible interviews. McGee is one of the worst. I really wish they would at least let Billy Mac do the interviews. His PHILosopy segment with Phil Jackson was one of my favorite bits.

Yeah I get it's media day and we need to hear from everyone but for future references, let's leave team spokesman to Brook or Nance.

That KCP interview was hard to watch lmao..and that awkward pause at the end of the interview on thoughts on staying with the team after his year is up.

Meh ..... he isn't a polished speaker with his articulation but it wasn't like he was uncomfortable being in front of the camera. Not like I expected from descriptions above.

What is uncomfortable and cringeworthy as others have noticed too ..... is WTF indeed did they let or ask Nike to do with the colors of Gold and Purple in the new uniforms. Terrible. Rams did the same thing it seems. Freaking bright canary yellow and (purple ?) now. Seems more blue but that could be white balance with cameras has to be perfect. Skin tones look OK with the people and just looks a little too blue? But that "gold" ..... YOWZA! I think the organization should hear about it. Purple and Gold were always about the "royalty" of the colors supposedly. Now look at the colors in the interview above with KCP compared to what the colors have always been below:

You know I I hadn't really noticed just how different the new color is, but seeing it contrasted with Ingram's uniform there, wow that is bright yellow. I have no clue how I didn't notice either, considering that Ingram picture is my sig. I guess because 90% of the time I'm here on my phone and I can't see my sig unless my I turn my phone sideways. I wonder if it's too late to turn that yellow down a shade, kinda surprised the Lakers approved it actually.

Nice! They have really kicked up the production value in these formal clips this year. Noticed jib camera work along with a 2nd camera at the desk for the Media Day interviews. And a lot of attractive space to work in at the new training site's gym.

He looks like he has to gather himself before shooting the 3. Does that mean he had to have really open looks?

Typically if you wait that long, you are going to get your shot swatted.

Up from page 2. He showed why we signed him. The dude is everywhere on defense. All hustle plays. Now just waiting for the shots to start falling.

This looked much more like the guy I thought we signed. I agree though that unless his jumper starts falling, Kuzma might just eat into his minutes too.

The good news for Pope is that Clarkson has done nothing to earn playing time.

He’s the best defender on the team. No one is perfect on defense, everyone gets beat, but his one on one man d at times is MWP-like. He had 3 or 4 possessions in a row where he locked his man down, got a steal, almost got a charge that caused his man to lose the ball, absolutely hounding defense to finish the game out when we made the comeback. And that steal where he didn’t quit on the play and dove out of bounds to save the ball, love it. They said he was a streaky shooter and it’s true, but his defense is as advertised.

A wing tandem of KCP and Brewer could be a spark plug for energy when we need it. They are streaky shooters but constant hustle when they are out there.

This team needs players who can make a difference each and every game. Not spark plugs.

And these two hustling, causing turnovers which would lead to easy scoring opportunities aren't difference makers?
