I'd rather just take a 1st then try to sign someone like Korver off waivers.

You gotta save KCP for a bigger trade, although getting WC for him would help fill that back up 4 spot and Chandler can defend for sure.

At the same time, if we traded KCP for WC and KCP agreed to waive the no trade clause...then at least we have a $12M expriing that we know we can for sure trade anywhere in a bigger trade for a star player near the deadline? We're going to need this $12M expiring so we don't have to package both Ingram and Zo just to get a deal done (not to mention gotta wait until Dec 15)

    Some footnotes:

KCP and Simmons are repped by Klutch
JHart and WChandler are repped by Roc Nation

Agents have helped broker deals for teams in the past.

I can see Kcp for WChandler. JHart needs more shine and Kcp is getting in the way. So Paul/Klutch is looking for KCP to get more PT elsewhere in a contract year. Fultz and Simmons, not only can't shoot...but are afraid to. On the flip, Kcp ain't. So a rotation of JJ/Kcp makes sense for them.

Meanwhile for LA, we need WChandler to be what Beas currently isn't. I'm not sure if Beas has his head in the game right now (multiple reports that he's in and out of team functions to attend to family needs). Obviously, that comes first over bball, so while Beas attends to that, WChandler can step in.

But you also have to consider WChandler was just made a starter and needs that PT/exposure to secure his next bag in a contract year. Also Philly's frontline depth is lacking and moving WChandler only makes it more shallow... and of course Kcp's no-trade clause, so consent on his part is necessary.

@alam1108 I would say creating a 38.2m max slot, bringing in Beas (KD's bestie) and having these Lore jersey "35 Showtime" pinstripes...

... has more of a connection to KD, than trading for fellow Roc Nation client WChandler would. ;)

Maybe he is finally waking up. We know he can play better. And he is the only good FT shooter on the team. Sad, but true.

Better game. He’s hitting shots now, staying within his catch and shoot game and timely steals.

welp, with Rondo out...KCP is going to get more tick..and if he's hitting his shots, he can be nice for us.

Nice game from him as well....timely 3s and decent D on Dame/CJ

He was huge for us last night killing off some of the momentum that POR had built when they started to make a few runs.
