Well, he is 82 years old, this was his last hurrah, can't last much longer especially with his mentality. Surprised he hasn't passed on from an aneurysm already.

And how is Bob Myers doing without JW whispering in his ear?

Pretty good, he got Russ to salvage losing KD, re-signed Klay for 5 years, retained Looney, and landed WCS and Glen Robinson III for the minimum.

Have to disagree. Myers could have made some moves to remain competitive, WCS, GRIII are certainly not it. I'll give him credit for Looney, great team friendly deal. Russell and Curry in the same backcourt is a defensive disaster. They better hope they can move DR quickly for some usable assets.

Can’t be mad at J.West as he wanted to come back to his beloved lakers, but petty grudges/ego from the ownership came in the way. Clippers were never his first choice.

Anyways, at some point we would need to throw Ryan West into the fire. A chip of the old block. J. West can’t do this gig forever, even if he were to return to the LAL in the future.

Man, I definitely wasn't expecting this outcome. For whatever reason my ESPN/Bleacher updates were on the fritz last night/this morning. So this morning I wake up to a Google alert that McGee is coming back. Think that's odd, because as far as I knew, still sleepy eyed...no one had decided s*** and the universe was waiting on the former Raptor. Pull up Twitter and see the colossal move Clipps pulled off while operating as quiet as a damn church mouse.

In short: f*** both Kawhi and PG13. Can't wait to crush their dreams for the next decade. Yall might have the perimeter on lock, but AD, Boogie, and McGee will have you begging for some frontcourt talent. At least if we have a hallway series in WCF (I'm sure there will be at least one), Bron can use the rest from only having to travel to the other locker room for "road games."

We are the Lakers. We are not a consolation prize and to be treated as one should result in hellfire pelting Kawhi every time we face him. I wish we still had Kobe (for 100 reasons) because he'd go full Arya Stark on Kawhi's a** for this stunt. Different league today, only a few of those type of guys left around (maybe Westbrook down the road).

I do not regret us going after him or us waiting for his decision. I would want us to make that call 10 out of 10 times, even knowing what we know today. Would've preferred to get AD's future running mate locked up now to prolong a little of Bron's tread, but it's all good. We'll win with this team and then build a team around AD when that time comes (ball dominant guards might be more eager to come over when Bron rides off into the sunset).

I don't regret any of the big deals we missed out on overpaying for. I would've definitely taken a few of the min deals we didn't get, but as @Weezy already said earlier, that had nothing to do with Kawhi. That offer (if we made one) was on the table regardless of this fiasco.

I don't know what the f*** OKC was thinking! Inside job all the way. We get everyone in a tizzy when we get Chandler from James Jones, but this can happen?! You didn't have to move PG. Moving him without feeling out the market is incredibly stupid. When has a star been traded without any whispers of them being available and for a sub-standard package? You have no idea what that could've netted you. NONE. You want youth and to rebuild, you move him on draft night for a top pick. Teams would've definitely had a bidding war for him. But to put out the narrative that he strong armed you into moving him...b*******! They essentially asked if he needed help packing and arranged a car services for him.

@Wino Unlikely, but they're certainly okay with the outcome I'd imagine. Silver is sick of taking calls regarding how unfair the Warriors were

It’s all very C Bags-like, Danny Ainge and McHale helping eachother out type stuff. Sucks we don’t have those kinds of connections, but it’s impossible to when your GM is a former agent.

Kawhi is perfect for the Clippers. Backstabbing, lying , fraud. Hopefully that thigh issue doesn’t become serious or someone could be playing in Detroit in no time.

Loyalty or if you spell it like Kawhi does “liar”

I apologize to anyone I questioned about the Kawhi situation. We definitely got played. He’s a weasel and a liar. We got great players and I’ll eventually get over it but I’ll never forget.

It's great how all of the details about how Kawhi was a snake are slowly trickling out

How many teams have future picks? Nearly all of them. Prospects and assets for a rebuilding team? Nearly half of the teams. There would have been a market for him of between 8-12 teams. With at least 5 good offers.

He has no say in where he went. OKC had no reason to cater to him and send him to his choiced location. If it's Westbrook, I get it. He's done a lot of the franchise, you want to thank him for his time there. PG13 didn't do s*** for their franchise and has barely unpacked.

Kawhi's a low life who never wanted to be on the lakers.

not only he gets to go to the crap LA team he sabotaged the lakers off season.

Our offseason has not been sabotaged. We have legit depth at all positions except backup SF, which would be a luxury at this point because that would make us > 10 deep.

The team is prepared for the regular season and has all the pieces (except SF please Iggy) to make a playoff run.

    We have done well.
