    Cause the 2nd star (in our case Bron) is capable of playing PF with Kawhi at either the 2 or 3.

    Butler for his career has played 53% at the 2 and 45% at the 3 so a pairing between him and Kawhi is kinda redundant.

    Plus with Luke, its positionless bball where BI can be a taller 1 or 2 at times on the court for us on offense and can come out to guard the KDs in the league on defense. That makes much more sense to me than your best 2 players having similar build/roles on the floor and getting paid 65m-80m annually to do it. cLips would be better off pairing Kyrie to Kawhi or Butler rather than a Kawhi-Butler tandem imho.

    Pretty much how I see it.

    If you're a person willingly going to the Clippers, you're about something different and you have a different makeup than the players I want on this team.

    You want to play with Jimmy Butler for the Clippers instead of LeBron James and the Lakers? Then good luck and good riddance.

    The media has been trying to make the Clippers a true power for quite some time and I honestly think a lot of this is more of the same. They're just chomping at the bit to write a story of how someone chose them over the Lakers.

    Eh. Given that LeBron picked us already, the Clippers have gone back to being non-threatening. I think they're a good place to go for those who want a "bigger market" but can't take the bright lights. They're perfect for someone like Kawhi in that respect. We're perfect for someone like Durant.
