It’s just not a good look to have a legacy Spur comes out and says this while Buford is trying at all costs to keep Kawhi or salvage the relationship. Bowen and his stupid bow ties should STFU and go be Grayson Allen’s personal dirty play coach.

Oh the Spurs have no control of their players at this point.

David Robinson at the draft told everyone "this is an organization you can trust." No coincidence there either. Tony Parker mouthed off too. Manu made some implications. I think Danny Green might be the only guy trying to downplay everything publicly as far as players go.

Love it. Keep it coming former and current Spurs! Just keep bad mouthing Kawhi...let him feel SO unwanted that he says EFF YOU BUFORD TRADE ME TO THE LAKERS OR I SIT OUT THE SEASON.

I’m pretty sure Pop told Parker and Ginobili to say the things they did. They’re loyal to him, and he was clearly pissed. Meanwhile we’re over here making good relationships with players by signing other players in their same agency, trading guys to better teams or releasing them to go play where they want and contend like with Bogut and Brewer, we do right by players here.

After seeing Kobe do the latest episode of “Detailed” on Scottie Pippen’s defense, it made me wonder... who’s the bettewas player? Prime Pippen or pre-injury Kawhi?

Love Kawhi but I think prime Pippen would also be a top 5 player in today’s NBA. I think they are both pretty equal on offense and defense, but Pippen’s a better facilitator/passer than Kawhi...,

    What do you guys think

Pippen was the quarterback of that Chicago Doberman Defense. He made sure everyone knew their spots and when to help. Did the same with Portland. Leonard is better on offense though not that pronounced.

Stephen screamin out his a** again, but it's a slow news day, so there you have it...

If true, Kawhi just deaded his trade value and the rest of the L can't possibly trade for dude...unless you have another lame like Presti.

At this point we should offer Ball brothers. And I don't mean Lonzo. They can have Lavar too.

Scotty Pippen, THE most underrated player ever. And yes, I know all about 50 greatest and so on... In his prime, he was second only to Jordan, IMO. He could do everything. Shoot, pass, defend, dunk, rebound. He was gritty and didn't mind diving for the ball.

He took a team that just lost f***ing Jordan to ECF. By his lone self, basically, while leading them in nearly every statistical category.

And he is rarely given credit for those 6 championships.

He was the perfect Robin to Jordan's batman. He understood how to do everything else and flourished really.

This is my favorite Scottie Pippen moment.

We cost him that 7th ring, that precious post-Jordan ring 3 times in a row, and it was delicious. Where was he to stop the bleeding in the game 7 collapse in 2000? Right there with Sheed slowly shrinking into the fetal position. Couldn’t stand that guy, smug a-hole who got outplayed by a kid Kobe repeatedly and couldn’t handle it.

I was a 10-11 year old boy that never lost hope...saw the comeback in front of my very eyes before I yelled my brother over.

I'm a fighter until I fudging die, Lion heart mother truckers, can't ever faze me and the Laker mentality.

The Lakers pulling out a win against the superior team in Utah which was fighting for the playoffs, after trailing big most of the game and big deep into the 4th quarter ..... in Kobe's final game of his career. Common denominator?

That comeback against Portland is on far with Game 7 of the 2010 Finals if not more as it jump-started a remarkable three year run.

This Leonard situation will be closely monitored after James makes his decision. It appears that his relationship with the Spurs is fubar.

Pippen couldn't guard Kobe. That was something that really hit home later at how good Kobe was. Pippen could not stay in front of Kobe.

It may have actually cost him an 8th ring. If Portland wins that series, it's likely the Lakers start to tweak the team. And the confidence of that Portland team would have been sky high.

If pippin wins 2 or 3 more rings after Jordan, he would be remembered greatly different -
    Jordan too.
