Agree. And yes the Spurs are totally fu****. The longer this draws out, the more leverage we have.

We just need to be patient.

I'm sure we gave them a fair deal, but the Spurs want to "bankrupt our talent pool" which is what a Western Conference Exec said that @vasashi17 posted a couple of days ago in a tweet my Vescey, and I believe that. They are being totally unfair.

In the end, they aren't getting the package they think they are for Kawhi; and best of luck trying to have a disgruntled player in the locker room and that's even if he shows up to camp if he's still a Spur by then...

"Kawhi in meeting with Pop, Pop gave him every indication that he was going to trade him & he was going to try to make Kawhi happy."

Spurs fans say this guy is just a shill for Kawhi at this point. I have no idea how valid that is.

Cris Carter and Kawhi Leonard have the same agent. That may be why he knows what he knows.

I actually relate more and like him more that he isnt out there on social media. I would buy his shoes and jersey in a heartbeat if he came. I'm an old fella and dont like all this swag stuff. I like to the the play do the swagging.. and Kawhi is just my type of player and hes from cali. He would instantly be my favorite player and I would support him with purple blood and a gold heart

I appreciate that, but you got to look at it from a business perspective. The ones buying most of this stuff are youngsters and youngsters want pageantry.

When you sell a shoe, you have to market it. He may not like to do that stuff, regardless what the money is.

While I dont disagree. I'm trying to say .. coming to LA will instantly make him relatable not just to the youngsters. Us old fogies will relate as well. Hes old school. I'm saying he wouldn't have to do much pageantry while here. Just being in LA with us real bball heads will help

The youngsters are going to buy shoes regardless. Me and I know there are others like me. Do not buy shoes or jerseys unless it's someone relatable and likable and in for the long haul. I had no inkling of thoughts of getting a bron Lakers jersey. I'm already planning on getting a Kawhi jersey if he comes. So theres that

Well that's the point too though: he'd sell better in a bigger market which is what his people are aiming for. In San Antonio his shoes won't sell as much and thus the shoe brands won't give him as much. He wants more, which is understandable, and given his bland personality he needs a brand that can push him as much as he can push the brand. San Antonio isn't a strong enough brand to really sell Kawhi.

Clearly his people are interested in that and they have every reason to be.
