good to hear that he's happy with walton, despite the early season PT issues.

a few months ago, i was pretty certain randle wouldn't be here next year, but i think it's much more likely now.

I was going to say something along these lines. If Ding is writing a puff piece about Julius, the Lakers want him here as part of the core.

Yes. As well obviously with hopefully Lonzo, BI, Kuzma, Zubac and Hart.

Like that other article that talked about the communication between the FO and Jeanie prior to the Nance and Clarkson trade, where I loved the specific wording she was quoted as say to the effect she trusted Magic and Rob to fill the roster with players "that fit into the system that Luke brings to them". Why the eff would they want to make a change now. This is a combination system passed along from Tex and Phil and Popovich and Kerr with the multiple championships Warriors ..... PLUS the fastest paced team in the league harking back to Showtime and Magic himself wanting that pace of play. Eff any thoughts of appeasement for LBJ with that Fizdale crap. I'm sure he's a good coach but he's not had any history playing with that kind of pace and he is not a "star" type coach with the communication skills, personality and speaking voice of Walton. Walton is in the Riley mode and will be a huge plus in the FA meetings.

Nice to see. He really does things for our team that no one else can. As always I'm hoping we can retain him and of course I'd love to do so at a good, not break the bank contract level. We'll have to see what happens this summer.

Good read... Randle has handled this season with maturity and professionalism. No constant tantrums, throwing towels or bowls of soup.

Especially the bowls of soup. That one is key to being successful in life.

Jules better be ready...we need this game and the guy he's primarily going to guard on the other end is no joke.

He was rolling and then Luke sat him forever. Then he came in and was totally out of the flow, got a charge, turnovers and such. Oh well, I guess IT, Ennis, and Wear needed all that time.

Send all the picks away to get rid of Deng to keep Randle. Send all the picks to OKC to trade for PG to have enough room to keep Randle. Pay him 20 million under the table for him to take his QO. I don’t care what it takes, the man is 23 years old, keep the beast.

I’ll be so pissed if we lose him. I need more Randle.

Beasted tonight. I won’t even point out the negatives, who cares, he was great in the end.
