Maybe .... if interchangeable ball is what we're all about these days and Kuzma can drop some of his minutes down to the SF position to help cover Hart .... we could play around a little bit with some Thomas Bryant minutes of the bench now. That wouldn't suck if Kuz could play a little at the faster position and TB could show some game at the 4 at the big league level if given some minutes.

I was thinking the same thing about Kuz sliding down to SF a little more. We could also use Ingram to fill some minutes at SG so we don't have to play Caruso or Ennis. I like Caruso as an end of bench guy, but I want 40 wins so I'd rather play our best players slightly out of position at times.

If you click on the hyper link in that tweet it will make more sense in what he is saying. Yesterday Josh tweeted how nice it is in Miami. Now he is just replying back to his own tweet saying 'Nevermind no it's not'

    haha

    Things were just clicking too.

Once again I think we will be giving Ingram a new role. With Ball back Ingram won't need to run the offense as much. Slide Ingram down to SG and play Kuz some at SF. Or stagger mins between Ball, IT and KCP. Versatility is strong with this team.

Reported estimated recovery time of 12-15 weeks. He’s essentially out for the year.

Did I read he was "hit" on the hand in practice .... it wasn't a ball? Was it Ennis?

See, now anything and everything that comes back will feel minor.

Where’s all the appreciative posts for the perspective change?

I know it sucks because he is blossoming and it's only his first year but face it, it could be worse, could of happened earlier before we knew we had an effective guard to start or come off the bench next year in which case we would be forced to either bring KCP back on a 1 year or find someone else on a 1 year deal this summer. Magic and Rob can now operate knowing we have a sold multi-use guard in Hart. Also the timing, Zo is coming back and we just got IT. Not that he is the same as either, but I look at the bright side, we basically know what we got in this kid and his floor is high. he is locked up for 3 years beyond this season on a rook contract which is awesome. We'll take a little hit in our guard defense but we can rally. Minute management has been pretty good this year we got people that can take up the slack.
