Loved his play in OT last night. We need someone like him since McGee looks out of breath after just 10 mins. He just needs to learn to stop fouling so much, but that'll come with time. Great hustle, energy, and verticality. He looked like someone playing to save his NBA career, which is the type of hunger we need on the defensive end.

He has to use up his days he has with the two way contract. I want to say those number of days are 40 or 45 days. After that because we still have an open roster spot we could sign him outright if we wanted to but I think Rob and Magic want to keep that spot open for now. We'll see how well he does.

It's 45 days but the rule seems confusing because last year I felt like Caruso was with us for half the season.

No just days in general I believe.

If I remember correctly Caruso spent a lot of time shuffling back and forth, but we tried to limit his practice days so that we could use him as much as possible.

Not necessarily because I believe practice days still DO count for that 45 number. They're talking about flights to away games and whatnot.

Well sheeeoooot. Williams helps us depth wise for sure. Solid 3 on the chart once Moe is back and healthy. Hell could even play Moe at the 4 and Williams at the 5 with Ingram and Kuzma and Lonzo and we'd have a bunch of Tall dudes sprinting up and down the court. :p

Lets see if he can keep this up. With Moe returning soon and his skillset, Zubac about to be in the dog house or traded.

Jokic just got done making Ayton look like the rookie he is so he’s no joke. This will be another good test for Williams tonight. But so far he’s has done a decent enough job to make me feel comfortable with him as our backup 5.

Sic Hart on him to bang and wear him out. Hart is so fun being fearless and taking pride in trying to out leverage these bigs like Ayton last night.

Unfortunately I think it will be too late for Moe. Not having a training camp, learning our defensive coverages and call outs. I'm not sure when he's going to get that learning curve down. Yes, a little from practice but doing drills compared to the actual game is different. And we don't have time to be dropping game or having a lineup struggle while he's on the court trying to get adjusted.

I love me some Moe and I think his intensity, and skill set will be awesome once he gets used to the speed of the game. I just don't know when or how he's going to get that time.

At least (hopefully) we won't see Kuz struggling on Jokic like we did in preseason.

Hopefully not. In any case, Jokic is going to score on us. Nothing much we can do about it, but we can still win that game. Time for the Nuggets to lose one.

He does alright while in the game. Just don't send him to the FT line.

So I was curious how the Lakers are going to use that 15th roster spot...they can convert JWill with it and I'm thinking they might as they wait to see what opens up with the 45 day window they have with him as a 2way player.

So in digging to see who JWill's agent is, it looks like he's signed to Ronald Shade of Octagon.

So why is that important? Dude also reps Luol Deng and maybe signing JWill to at least a 2way slot is to do a solid to Shade/Octagon for Luol giving back so much money in the buyout to open up a max spot next summer.

But doing more digging, I noticed another crazy name that is signed to Octagon.....now that's freaky. Also, talk about the Lakers/Pelinka being Shade-y.

Yall can stop wondering why we cut ties with Mintz, yet did dude a solid by rescinding Jule's QO. Pelinka knows some things about player agent/agency relations....and seeing how Klutch he's been of late, I trust what Rob is doing.

Zu should be embarrased, this was his last chance to solidify himself as the main backup C and can't even do that right over a "SF"

Had to rescue this thread from the bottom of page 3. Guys been playing consistent defense, rebounding well and making his open shots. Hope we bring him back as an short spurt energy guy next year.
