Zubac is probably going to get played 30 minutes a game, and get offered a nice fat contract this next year and will be set for life. Wish him well, seems like a real good kid. We'll see him used with a different coach and I'm super interested to see what happens. Would not surprise me to see him average 20/10 the rest of the year.
Biggest lost in all this, we lost our one true post threat. Lebron isn't going to play there, Ingram to weak to bang bodies, Kuzma likes the wing, McGee/Chandler are more lob threats than anything.
I mean, did we even give Orlando a call for Vuc? I know they already have Bamba, but we could’ve given them a look at Zu and a second to rent Vuc.
Orlando is reported to still be pursuing the playoffs so they are keeping Vuc. Also Bamba is out with injury, might miss the rest of the season.
and Bamba also sucks, supposedly the worse rookie in the lotto so far as far as playing the game goes
Maybe the Lakers knew they weren't going to re sign Zubac next Season. They simply decided to move Zu & Beasley now to try to pick someone up off waivers that could help Now..?? It's an odd move for sure, but not necessarily a Bad one. Just depends on who they pick up.
we really couldn't have gotten more for zu? i know he was probably a goner in the summer but really? mike muscala was the best you could get? goddamn jerry west
