A side conversation in the Lebron thread made me think of this. If there is any Laker player from any era that you have watched that you could say would remind you of yourself, you could see emulating a style of play, or related personality wise, closely rooted for or felt a connection to, who would it be and why? I would probably pick Derek Fisher. The player. Not the playa. Div III school. Hard worker. Always in shape. Got the most out of his talent. Solid locker room leader, steady presence on the floor, and prepared to succeed in the big moments when he had the opportunity. I also suck at layups lol. 2nd is Mark Madsen. Pale, worked hard, can't dance, hustle.
