I liked Hollins in memphis. Thought he got a raw deal when they booted him. I like the experience, leadership, and knowledge he brings as an assistant. But the game has changed a lot since he was a coach and Memphis was one of the last teams to be an old school team. Hopefully he's here to keep Kidd tied to a chair and to tape Kidd's mouth shut.

I want an offensive guy to be our next hire for assistant. Still lacking in that department.

Lue is still available. Then we can have 3 assistants gunning for Vogel's job.

yeah, i wouldn't call him a clown...just...definitely got passed by in the past few years. our coaching hires have been such a huge disaster since phil left, really. overlooked part of our demise that continues to this day.

i liked hollins and thought he overacheived in memphis and did ok in bkn. i just think things have changed since then.

i do like having an experienced coaching staff. honestly, hollins assisting luke might have helped.

This staff thus far pleases me. Should see a huge upgrade tactically compared to the Luke era.

really like hollins as an asst.

he was seen as one of the better coaches in the league not too long ago before his crappy tenure with the nets

From a shooting perspective, I know guys are seeking out their own coaches privately. Kuz at least is working one named Lethal Shooter. He's a name that's been around the league for awhile. I've actually heard of him randomly.

Agree that overall it is an upgrade, but that's not a very high bar. I'd rather be looking for the next Stevens/ Budenholzer/ Nurse type than another retread.
